So i opened tF2

So i started TF2 and gave me this msg. The i clicked cancel and TF2 would NOT open!
What is this?

Something to do with updating the steam files i am pretty sure. I had that happen a long time ago in CSS. Then CSS worked flawlessly for another 2 years, until i stopped playing it.

It checks your files for errors and such. Shouldn't be a problem

just let it happen then you can play... my game does this whenever I crash

Right click tf2 > properties > local files > and run "Verify integrity of game cache". When it's done, run tf2, and it should work >.<

Pie, that is the manual way to do it, that message is saying that steam did it automatically for you. Just let it go, and it works fine.

I know steam community will do it for you automatically, but apparently after he canceled the process, tf2 would not open :<
