Switch to chrome?

I've never used firefox, but in comparison to IE chrome is outstanding, light weight, very fast, uses barely any resources and is very user friendly. There are some cool features such as Chrome having its own Task Manager allowing you to end and create new process as you would like a "ctrl alt dlt" function. anyways, i would say give it a shot and if you dont like it, uninstall! Good luck! :D

Having used both, there is one major statement for each.

Chrome is organized, fast, and efficient, yet bland, and Firefox is disorganized, slow, but with a ton of creativity.

I love how fast and stable Chrome is. But I love how much more effective my Firefox is now that I've taken the time to install some add on material.

Opera all the way fast as hell and has tons of usefull built in features, and is bloated like ff

This. Well, I've used Firefox a little. But I think Chrome is more organized, user-friendly, and better-looking visually than Firefox.

Firefox has more 3rd party plugins for it then Chrome does:
ie; adkiller, organizers, etc.

Chrome, for me, did a lot better on the SST(SunSpiderTest) then Firefox.
It rarely lags for me, no matter if I have 5000 tabs open where in FireFox, if I had 9 times open, it'd take up like almost a million resources, literally.

So, Chrome > Firefox > IE for me.

Hi! There are a lot of different opinions on which is better, Chrome or Firefox, but the one statement I used to make my decision is this: If you are satisfied with Firefox and have no problems with it, keep it. I too was curious about Chrome and whether it was better than Firefox, but after reading this I figured why bother changing, I'm happy and content with what I have.

why i use chrome? .. speed...

I use it daily, and the only problem I have with Chrome is once in a while (I'll say once a month or so) I find a page with something goofy in it that requires Firefox. Other than this very rare lack of compatibility, it's much better than other browsers IMO.

Basically, I use Chrome whenever possible for its speed and keep another browser as a backup for the sake of compatibility.

(Note that I used to have IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera all installed, and although I haven't used them all equally I think that shows that I have a bit of experience where browsers are concerned.)
