Since my 8500 gt started failing a couple of days ago i decided to uninstall it till i buy a new one, and since my motherboard's integrated video card is a Intel GMA 950 whit 224 mb, i wondered if i could run tf2 even whit low graphics or in dx8 o dx7 settings.

These are my specs:
Processor:Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 1024 MB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT(Dead)
Sound Card:Realtek HD Audio output
Operating System:Windows XP Professional

I watched a video on youtube that showed a guy playing on a GMA 950, so please i need some help, i want to plat TF2 :(.

Here's a site that'll benefit you:
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

I use it a lot, just to get a basis of if I can run it or not. Obviously, no application is 100%. But it's a benefit to have.

What it does:
This site provides a One-Click solution that looks at your computer's hardware and system software to determine whether or not your current system can run a product. Each of your computer's components is evaluated to see how well it meets the minimum and recommended requirements for specific products. Recommendations are made on how to update or upgrade each component which does not meet the listed requirements. Sometimes, a simple, free software download is all that is needed. Sometimes you'll find that you need a different video card to fully experience what the game has to offer.

It says that i need to upgrade my video card, but i wonder if someone has a tutorial or something else. Because i heard there's a way to play it, but whit some special settings.

TF2 already looks cartoonish enough, but you could try running the game in directx8 or lower.

You really shouldnt be putting that sort of stress on an integrated card anyway, you will melt something.

If you want help buying a new card, find me on ventrilo I will be happy to help.

Well, now that yo mention that i could melt things... I'd better wait till i buy a new video card, besides i've already checked some prices and they aren't expensive as i thought.

And about the help... well i don't think that you could help me on buying a new video card, or at least not by selling me one, since i live in Venezuela... Well let's just say that i can't buy you a video card (if that's what you meant) but don't worry, i'm about to get some money and trying to make some too, to buy new one (perhaps it will be the same model:biggrin_old:).
