Hey im new here, looking forward to being a part of eGO.

For my frist post i was just wondering what your guys thoughts were about this year's E3.

What did you like, and what didnt you like. What was your favorite part and what was the biggest let down?

I havent seen a drop of E3 so fill me in a little if you want

i only saw the playstation and pc parts, which were good but killzone3 in 3D...thats all i care about! i am going to buy my 3D tv here soon!

I thought it was pretty well done, Sony's showing I thought was the best, although I game on the PC, Sony Showed the best in my opinion.

Nintendo won the show, in both titles and hardware...meaning the 3DS. Sony and Valve are teaming up to bring Steamworks to the PS3. Microsoft came out with a suped up I-toy.

Games wise there weren't too many new IPs and far too many sequels. Also there will be a reboot of Kid Icarus, Twisted Metal, Medal of Honor and Mortal Kombat. Apparently there is also a big push for 3D gaming...which came off a little to gimmicky.

All in all a mediocre E3.

Sexy Beast, I'm going to have to disagree with you. Sony and Nintendo pretty much tied. They both unveiled their 3d technologies, Nintendo just made theirs portable. Sony had the advantage of the Move, so that's where the ground was covered between the two.
And Microsoft did nothing impressive (kinect is going to fail(just like the wii(family games and non-hard core gamers)))

Well Nintendo just seemed to really on the ball this year...and considering the grudge I have against them...that's really saying something. The Sony Move isn't really an advantage, more like Sony play catch up with Nintendo. Time will tell how many publishers are actually going to support Move.


Everyone is coming out with 3D tech, even Microsoft. EA confirmed that Crysis 2 will be 3D on the PS3, PC and 360.

I liked the part where Nintendo made up for the years of alienism they've brought upon themselves in one show.

And Konami's conference was so bad that I couldn't stop laughing.

That was pretty much it.

It was okay. I didn't really see anything that made me go 'WOW'!
3D isn't new. Sure, it's still cool and better than it used to be, but it's still not new.
The only games that I saw worth playing to me are Dead Space 2, Crysis 2 (REALLY looking forward to that, my PC can play Crysis @ Max @ 1080p w/ ~40 fps ), and sort of Fable III. Everything else is a console exclusive. >: /
Oh, and the new Star Wars game. I mean, holy %&$* the trailer looks AWESOME. Then I remembered it was an MMO. The graphics are not nearly as good as the trailer. Then I saw some gameplay. I am disappoint.
