CS:S Updated to the orange box engine

Another thing that popped up was the fade to black after you get killed. It quick-cams to the opponent that shoots you in their view..then fade to black, can't watch the rest of the round. Must be a server setting, but man that's annoying.

Thanks Super, I found it. Just a small tab to check on or off for cam follow. I'm liking the new hit system and ability to shoot through walls.

This is the worst thing I've seen in awhile.
My computer doesn't have good specs so the orange box engine just made everything worse.
And basically every aspect of this new.. update.. is everything I don't want CSS to be. :/

I'm on cable, says about 180 kb/s now and 11 hours and 11 minutes left...before it would even download it kept saying that the Steam servers were too busy to connect too...

They ruined one of the best features that made Counter Strike good...The way you could change your name without changing your steam name...they changed the tab fails....Actually Might consider quitting CSS...as I just played for 20minutes....and it was pretty fail.

They changed the way you change your name, but not the ability. It's under shift+tab. It's called profile name or something, check out that link above. And if you quit how am I gonna pwn you in jail and assault alike?

Although I haven't played it yet (65%, though it says 10 hours 16 minutes left, I don't think the time is right) but how can it really be so bad that you're just gonna quit? I know some people (a lot on the Steam forums) haven't liked the update, but I think the more people get used to it and play it, the more people will like it.
