I dont know if its been revealed yet, but I wanna know if that new MMO game, APB, is gonna have a monthly subscription. I cant play online games that require monthly fees (thus why I dont play WoW and Eve). So I wanna know if this game has one too.

BTW: This game actually looks decent to play.

$10 monthly subscription, or $7 for 20 hours of gameplay.

Interesting ideas & concepts. I gotta admit, im def diggin the idea. Theyre chargin $5 less than blizzard & the content, not to mention the various ideas are original & inspiring. def got my attention. would love to see game play on this before any further investment. i have all the guild wars games & invested 3+ years of my life into it (mostly while not having a job), so now that i have a job, no more gw.

that actually looks like a plan I can convince my parents for.....but still leaning on a huge fat chunk of no

i love the payment plan! they are really opening the door up to gamers who cant afford the full month. it will make it a lot easier for some people. they thought it out, it seems, and all in all i think this is a perfect solution to the problem.

as far as i am concerned, $20 a month is no biggie! even if i only play a few days out of the week for a couple hours. it seems worth it too me...though ive never cared too much about money when it comes to my gaming haha!

The game is garbage, I was in the beta, and it has got to be one of the dumbest games I've ever seen.

you dont think they will improve it with the actual release?

also you arent giving a reason as to why. your just saying its crap doesnt explain why you think it sucks, only that thats your opinion of it...and everyones got one of those

I don't remember where I read it, but I remember reading that the Keys to the City was the version for retail.

The game is good, and the customization superb, but the combat and mechanics are lacking in my opinion.

My game breakers :

1. I purchased a shotgun and it was useless, even up close. How does a semi-auto drum-fed shotgun always lose at point black? And other players agreed.

2. The matchmaking system seems very flawed. And by "seems" I mean "is." And by "is" I mean "it sucks." Myself, and many other players were constantly pit against other players that were juggernauts by personal comparison. The straw that broke my back, was that I had partied up with one other player and then was put into a 2v2 against Enforcers. We lost really bad, and then separated due to him my partier rage quiting. THEN, when I just decide to get in my car (which I customized and loved) I get an APB out for me. Ok, that's fine, I get that alot. BUT, it was the two Enforcers I just faced that had to chase and arrest me.

So, by the games logic. If I can't beat two Enforcers with a partner I should be able to do it.....by my self? Nope, they owned me even worse than the first time.

APB, needs work. As it stands, I don't believe it's worth a box price. Maybe if you could DL the game and they just by time like EVE, but no. APB wont get my attention unless they overhaul that crap.

see, thank you! that makes me feel the same way. i dont want to have to pay $50 and then $20 a month to not be able to blast people away with my shotty! that is one of those must have close range weapons.

who am i kidding...i will probably end up buying it anyways haha!

The feeling's mutual. We're not saying it's a bad game. Just not worth the 50 dollars. Just sit down and forget about everything you know about the game and think. 7 dollars for 20 hours? I play 20 hours in less than 3 days. And 10 dollars a month for a broken game? I gave it too much hype, I though it was going to be sick and all, but I got the key to the city and played it with a buddy of mine and it was just so... so... boring.
