I'm not sure what happen to my Desktop or Thumbdrive lately but whenever i plug my thumbdrive into other desktop, this error pops out saying pjveow.exe is not valid or cannot be found (something like that) and when i plug someone's else thumbdrive into my desktop, this few shorcuts will always auto generate : My Documents, My Pictures, My Musics, Password.txt and someother stuff, anyone have any idea how to solve it?

You have something on your USB drive which autoexecutes when plugged into a computer. The message you get is the PC trying to run that program, whatever it is, but experiencing an error.

Either remove the (automatic) call to the program or place the program back into the configured directory/state.

How do i do that?

If you're running Vista (And win 7 I believe) you do this:
My computer < Right click the thumbdrive < click format
A small menu pops up. Just leave everything alone but you can click quick format and just hit start.
With XP I can't imagine it would be much different. I haven't used XP in over 3 years XD but it probably would go like this
My computer < Right click the thumbdrive < properties (and somewhere in there)
It too could be the exact same as Vista or Win7 on XP. Hope this helps you a lil bit!

I tried reformatting, didn't work, got worse instead, now everytime i plug my thumbdrive in,this error keeps poping out stating that pjveow.crv is not executable or something, somebody help!

Alright what kind of a thumbdrive is it? Brand / special name and size?
I have a Lexar Firefly 2GB and a Sandisk Cruzer 8GB. I have a felling you have a PNY..

PNY is a company. In personal opinion. They're terrible. But anyways.
Ok so have you been using this as "Ready Boost" for Vista/Win7?
If you have, try right clicking the file on your thumbdrive < Properties < Ready Boost tab < Click do not use this device < and hit ok

Also if you're formatting the thumbdrive make sure you're using FAT32 as the file system.

I found out that pjveow.exe and pjveow.crv is actually a virus, which i am now having trouble trying to clean,lol...

Ha I never thought of that :) Makes sense. Well unfortunately I don't know much about virus protection.

Run your computer in Safe Mode (you hit F8 at start up) and then run scans on the thumb drive.
Try using Malwarebytes. Good free virus scan.

Well,i actually have Norton 2010,which got the virus, but now,my virus scanning starts to lag,any idea?

Where can i get it? Do i have to buy it or is there a trial version, mind providing with a link?

My first guess would have been a virus, but I suppose I didn't post thinking someone else would have had the same idea. randomrediculousname.exe would be fishy to me. Anyhow, I know avast! has a scan removable media option in their scans. You can give that a try.
