NO you should use the R4's for case fans, and get gentle typhoons, or panaflo's for the Heatsink.

R4's have terribad static pressure. Static pressure matters more than CFM for cpu coolers.


Never the less, R4s make wonderful case fans. Static pressure is not required for case fans.

Sorry to be of burden, but a quick question. I can get my hands on an nVidia 240 for 40 bucks. My budget is 40+whatever shipping. Is this a good deal? or is there something better I can get for the same price.

Mail-in rebates have a minimum 6-8 week turn around. I think the quickest I've ever gotten one back (If I ever get them back, which is also another problem... stupid companies.) is about 3 months.

Aren't they suppose to mail it back? What IS mail-in rebate anyways?

Could you post a link to the disk drive? and i was going to save up for a better graphics card then expand when i had the cash

You pay for your item and it comes with a rebate. You take the rebate from the package, fill it out, and mail it into the company.

The company processes the request for the rebate, and mails you back a check for however much money the rebate was for.
 
Will all these parts work together? and uhh... i know you recommend a better graphics card but
i was going to get this one and game with it for quite a while because I'm not going to be playing super high quality games. i am planning on upgrading it to a 5770 radeon when i have the extra cash. do you have any recommendations on any better parts i could be using except the graphics card. ones that are cheaper? and with package deals? xD like a new case that has a package deal with one of my items?

Ah makes more sense, though I don't see why they can't just give you the discount right when you buy it. More (trees) paper to waste.

Well since you'll be upgrading the GPU when you have money, why not just stick to onboard and save money so you can buy the 5770 quicker?
 
because i have a hard time getting money... lol. i figured i would play with this card for a long time then when i get a job and stuff and earn my own cash then i would upgrade. im only 14.

Because not everyone takes the time to send in the rebate. So if they offer a $20 rebate and sell 50,000 units, and only 45,000 people send in the MIR, then they just made $100,000 just from people not sending in that rebate.
 
Gaming not overclocking 73099 350-500 as low as it can be plz dont mind loud fans just not to loud preferable blue or white case
