Assistance on PC Upgrade

But I get no tax for US deliveries on the Canadian site which makes it a lot cheaper.
Certain states don't get taxed for online purchases, I don't think it would matter if you ordered for newegg or not. Depending on your state.

You could go with

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150462 For the graphics card as already mentioned (this one has a better cooler then the one on NCIX)

And this powersupply

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341022

That's 225$ without tax/shipping (assuming you get taxed)

I decided on a 550W power supply because it's cheaper, but what brands are known to be good? And I also need a 75W 6 pin PCI connector, how do I tell if I get that with the PSU?

The 6 pin connector comes with the video card, I posted a powersupply from newegg thats 550w and in your price range above your post.

Yes, I have an OCZ PSU. It's reliable, but it's not modular, so cable management sucks. >.<
The other PSU he was going to get from NCIX isn't modular either. Modular would bring up the price. He'll be fine.

I know, but I'm a perfectionist/minimalist, so I hate having a mess of wires. Modular PSU's are just a preference for me.
