Hey guys, I've been looking for a laptop for quite a long time, but I think I found exactly what I needed and I received it today. Remember that it's only 11.6 inch screen
Here's my specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7 CPU @ 1.20Ghz, curently overcloaked a 1.66Ghz
Memory: 4GB
HDD: 500 GB
Graphic card: Integrated Intel HD graphics
Discrete Graphic card: 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M

I was hearing different reaction from differents gamers and reviewers, some were saying it was the best laptop they ever saw for this size and this price and some others were saying they couldn't even look at it. Well, I decided to give Alienware a try, and so far I haven't been disappointed at all. I'll post some pictures here and if you guys want me to test anything, feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do.

Benchmark results:
3DMark06 : 8177

Average FPS for different games:
Team Fortress 2 = ~80 FPS all settings maxed out
Counter Strike: Source = ~70 FPS all settings maxed out
Battlefield Bad Company 2 = ~40 FPS on Medium, ~20 FPS on high

Picture gallery (Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, I used a very old camera)

The whole laptop.

The keyboard.

The 11.6 inch screen.

Comparaison between a regular CD and the screen.

Lunar Shadow color.

Side picture of the laptop.

Is it worth it? If you bought it for 1000$ you could've got a pretty decent custom build PC

I payed $1432.38CAN to be exact, and if you ask me if it was worth it, I'd say yes because I wanted something portable that could game well, and I just tried TF2 10 minutes ago and I get almost as good FPS as my custom built 2 years old PC, so yeah, if you ask me, it was worth it.

Can you post some benchmark results on a variety of games, please?

I've been interested in this laptop for quite some time.

Of course, I'll try to test BC2, TF2 and probably GTA IV tomorrow morning and give you an average FPS using Fraps.

I am always super confused when people say they bought a laptop and then people are like "for that price you could have gotten a nice desktop!" Like, really? A laptop and a desktop are completely different. Unless you run around with a massive pack of batteries and a big ATX case on your back, with a monitor hanging in front of your face.

Anyways, doesn't look bad for 1k, but I need a bigger screen myself(not for gaming purposes, but for productivity purposes).

Well, I could have gotten the M15X (15 inch screen) for about 50 dollars more, but that's not what I was looking for.

Wow. That's almost as good as my desktop. If I get the money, I'm either going for this or Macbook Pro 13". Thanks for the results, /bump when you get the bc2 benchmark, I'm anxious to see how this mini-monster performs on such an fps-intense game.

dude.... im happy for you
but you will regret buying an alienware
trust me

Sorry for the time it took, I finally have benchmarks for Battlefield Bad Company 2 using fraps, updated on the first post.

alienware comps are neat looking, but i really dont understand why a laptop needs to run games at high settings.....
