Well, I, the oldest of 3 have lived in
My own small room while my brothers share a room about 1.5 X the size. We have a guest room downstairs, which I have been asking to move into since we moved into this house, now my mom asks my middle brother if he wants to move in there. I stop her right there, saying I've wanted that room forever, I'm 15, I have bunches of tech stuff in my room, and need more space. My middle brother( is the favorite child, even though he's chubby, not athletic, smart and a jerk. ) My mom says that my brother should have something once In a while (she gave me 50$ for my birthdays, while he's gotten 100$).

I have had it with this, and everytime I try to talk about it, it gets into a yelling war, and, naturally I lose to my parents and get hit with a 3 day video game ban.

I'd like some reasons to put together on why I should get this larger, more away from My brothers room.

So far I have:

-I'm older
-I need more space
-I'm getting home later, and don't wanna wake anyone up spoon entering.

After that I usually start ranting about how I'm better than him, and we start yelling.

I'd like some ideas, any help would be appreciated

I'm not sure if it's wise to give you rebel-ish suggestions, but you will have to step up more and stop losing the yelling wars or it'll be like that until you rent your own place and move out. Stop ranting how you're better, you should all be equal, don't forget that. It's natural that since you're older you need more space than your brother(how old is he?) and that should be enough especially since your house seems to have one empty room.
Or, how about you move in the free room downstairs and one of your brothers moves in your current room. Another idea to consider, you move in the room that your brothers share(you said it's bigger didn't you :P) and one of them moves in your current room and the other in the free room. the coming home later thing would be a small issue but atleast you get more space. :P

What Asclepius said. Tell them that he can move into your old one and you get the new one.

I know how you feel about the favorite thing. My younger brother is the favorite, yet he doesnt do anything more than I do, and in ways is way worse than me. Its just how parents are sometimes. But if you really want that room you will have to keep bringing it up to your parents to show them that you really want it.

Well what you should do is be the mature one and let the middle one get the room for about a week and after that i think he just wants the room because you want it so just pretend like you dont care! This might work it worked on my sister getting a new room but i dont know how well it will work with brothers!

The idea of getting to help someone get what they want..is awesome. My thought is, guilt trip your mom, bring back all the things that make it seem like she loves and pays more attention to that brother. If you make her feel bad, she SHOULD give you what you want. :) (P.S. If you want it bad enough, you can even throw out the "You don't love me!" phrase and see how far that gets ya)

THIS!!! PURE WIN. Trust me guilt always works. Always.

What always works with my parents (to show your sincerity) is to write a persuasive hand-written letter (just on some notebook paper or something). List only facts, not that you want this or that, just write simple facts, then hand it to your parents, say nothing, and let them read it. Also, the fact that you took the time to do this shows that you really want it, so it doesn't need to be said.

seriously your living at home getting free food, heat, power, phone/internet, and a place to stay so you cant really argue that there being unfair to you if you were argue with anyone in my family they would just say if you don't like it move out and get your own place.

Ask Professer oak for a pokemon, and challange your rival to a battle! jk

Do this, go to your middle brother, and NICELY ask him for the room, if he says no, bargain with him. THAT SIMPLE.

Seriously, you need to be mature about this. Maturity helps alot dude.

Also, i thought QQ threads where not aloud?

He's 15, dude. Unless his parents are complete (word unacceptable to eGO's rules), they won't make him get his own place.

Step 1. Move the stuff out of the guest room, into your parents room.
Step 2. Move your stuff into the spare.
Step 3. Move the stuff from the spare, into your old room

Do this fast, when no ones home, they can't do anything when all your belongings are in place and everything is set and working fine :)

I did this at my moms place when she wouldn't let me use the finished basement as my room...she was wrong to tell me I wouldn't do it

Lol. This is win. Do this.

IMO since he is fatter he needs more space.
You can't fault his logic.

I would talk to my parents responsibly, be patient and let them explain themselves before I talk. Then explain my side of the story, don't raise your voice, don't bring up your brother being fat or how he's a jerk and do not bring up your parents being favorable to him. Be reasonable and try to show your parents that you are mature. Once you get them mad, you lose. Once you get mad, you lose.

If that doesn't work, talk to Daddy. Daddy solves all of my problems.
