first day of high school tomorrow :D & =/

lol thanks guys xD I just got back and heck i cant wait for the next day as my keystone/history teacher is awesome! Funniest teacher i have met :D but i am trying to get out of Spanish class (parents wanted me to go but i talked em out of it) but there is a high chance that i wont be able to =/ Its a language I hate and never want to learn thus making it impossible for me to want to do the activities and work in that class. Hopefully i can get out of it and hopefully our new high school will have a Japanese class :D

Yeah, like Rostas said, don't do drugs, and get your work done. Theres a lot of kids at my school who have become addicted to drugs sadly. So keep your nose clean!
 
watch don't talk, when u get to know everyone, then talk :p. Well thats how i do it. Find yourself someone u can trust, so u feel more secure then the rest. It will give u an advantage

im that person that everyone always ends up telling secrets and stuff to

i could probably ruin the lives of at least half the people around me

but nah

that aint me




i see as more of an opportunity to let friends vent than an opportunity to do bad

As a high school teacher. This thread is great insight. You'll be fine. :) :)

want good marks? Just do your best on everything the teacher hands out.
 
Ya as a former hs kid, i was 1 of the worst & prob craziest. I never really did care bout my grades & always wanted to goof round. Dont be like me. Do your best & if you have some issues, please ask your teacher. Part of their job is to help you understand your schoolwork. Also ask your parents for additional help, thats part of being parents since they went to college for a reason. Also do try to make friends with other people. I was always real friendly w/ people (usually in the afternoon), but noone was ever round me in the mornings (I would always go thru the same hall every morning wearing my headphones w/ my cd player, headbanging to Metallica). Now mind you, this was 1998, so everyone should have an portable mp3 player (like an iPod or something like that now). Of course cd players were portable & were able to play mp3 tracks, but the "in" thing is mp3 players. Some schools dont allow any kind of media player (especially in class). It was funny, our school tried to ban it near the beginning of 1999, but it failed. I did hear years later that they finally passed it to where noone could bring in any kind of media player.

I almost forgot to mention, when it comes to a foreign language class, try & get a class that is available that might catch your interest. I understand that some people might not be interested in Spanish (I was somehow able to get outta the class, but now regret that I got outta the class cause now I wanna learn more Spanish) & try to go after a specific language that might sound interesting to you.

haha thanks guys and ^^ my awesome match teacher who gave me a muffin as a quick reaction prize lets use listen to ipods and mp3 players as long as our work is done
 
locker combo is good - take it from what you guys consider an old fart (32) just be yourself and dont do anything you normally wouldnt do just to fit in, you'll regret it...just have fun and make friends, oh ya and learn
