Getting Battlefield: Bad Company 2?

I'm kinda bored of CS:S and I wanted to try something new out, like BFBC2. I was going to buy it but I'm not sure if my computer can handle it. So should I get it or not?

My Computer Specs:
Manufacturer: HP
Model: p6310f
Processor: AMD Athlon (tm) II x4 630 Processor 2.80 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 6.00 GB (5.75 GB usable)
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9100

(I'm not a computer expert so I'm not really sure if its even good enough for the game)
 
Probably not. Even with a dual core, its the video card that would be limiting you. Im running a old ctd 2.6ghz and a gtx 260 and my fps drop to like 10 in a firefight. Makes me want to rage.

I only have.....

Phenom II X4 965(3.4GHz)
4GB DDR3 1333
NVIDIA GeForce GT 220

And it runs fine for me I have settings on medium I think.

I have this exact computer. No it will not, don't waste your time buying it. You will need to upgrade your video card and power supply.
 
Or drop $100 and get a decent graphics card! =D

Would've been nice to play with you, but honestly...the 9100 could play it but it would be on low settings. And at low settings, it's hard to spot enemies at a distance and it's not very aesthetically pleasing.

Slaz, I bought the game and tryed to run it on all low, bloom off and such. I got fps lag the whole time I was playing.

^ They are all lying to you. I own most of them nightly, and I have a worse set up then you. I am usually near the top of the team, with all my settings on low, and forcing the game on DX9. It won't look amazing but it will be more than playable, and there are placed to get the game for PC for about $20.

I run Vista with a Core 2 Duo 2.8g, 4 gigs of DDR2, and the GT8600, with max resolution of 1280X768, dual screening. It still gets around 20+ frames, until something explodes.

His graphics card isnt a GeForce 9100 GT. It's a geForce that's integrated to his motherboard, we have the same computer. Runs at about 10-20 frames idling on low, and when an explosion comes the game itself stops until the explosion is done.
