How often do you talk to a Council member?

Probably monthly at the meeting. Don't usually run into a lot of Council members down in the Battlefield Division a lot. I believe the true question is: How often has a council member talked to me?

Not much, i occasionally speak to Nurse and Hammer but thats about it.

I rarely if ever get the occasion to speak to a council member, but I will not fault them for that at all as I'm the one with the crazy schedule!

I chat with Garden in IRC every day. And this isn't just because I'm an Advisor, he's in IRC all the time.
