For those of you who are needing to upgrade your power supply, now is the time to do it! FSP Group is having a sale on certain power supply over the labor day weekend & if you get a power supply, itll come with an additional year of warranty. So make sure to go by their store @ www.shopfsp.com 1 of the items im really looking into is their 1000w power supply for $79.99. Also, as apart of their labor day weekend, knock off $10 off any order with the coupon code laborday10. The coupon will expire on Sept 8.

FSP makes crap power supplies

They are know for their out of spec ripple and low efficiency.

Some of their units are ok, but most are mediocre at best.

Didn't FSP make the AX1200? Or some brand that sounded similar?

Well, now - that's certainly a different looking unit, isn't it? You say you don't recognize the layout as either Seasonic or CWT, like the rest of Corsair's units? That could be due to the fact that Corsair went to a new OEM on this one, Flextronics. And I'm just going to 'fess up right now - I am not desoldering all that stuff in there. Much of the electronics should be identifiable using clever camera angles and a lot of hard squinting.

And from what the AX1200 turned out to be, flextronics seems to be total crap

and i knew it wasnt FSP b/c the AX1200 isnt total crap, and is gold. I knew it wasn't seasonic b/c it has a high failure rate, and i knew it wasn't made by corsair b/c the only thing they actually manufacture is their ram and the 700/800d

Isn't it technically a platinum PSU?
