My main race is protoss and I figured I could share will you all my favorite build or if you have a build you want the build order for you can post it here and I will hook you up.

My favorite(I mean absolute favorite) build is 3 Gateways and 1 Robotics Facility.

So here is your build order:

10/10 Pylon
10/10 Gateway
12/18 Assimilator
13/18 Assimilator
15/18 Cybernetics Core
17/18 Pylon
19/26 Robotics Facility
22/26 2 Gateways

From here you can build Stalker/Sentry/Immortals(My favorite build) or you can put down your Robotics Facility and go Colossus.
Another build is Zealot/Stalker/Sentry. For this one I recommend getting charge Zealots as they are good against a lot of stuff.
Make sure you end up expanding during your first attack. Also probe the entire time. Try to keep one queued at all times.

If you have questions or you want to see another build order post here or message me.

If you end up going the collosi route, go 2 nexus collosi, sitting on one base is going to kill your army size, and it's all riding on your few collosi's micro.

I actually prefer going fast charge lots, then into HTs against terran. Ht's/Charge(awesome to catch up to marauders, and zealots rip them) murder bio balls, which is pretty much what every terran does until higher diamond. Also use it against heavy hydra zergs.

As protoss you can never go wrong with a 4 gate. Throw down a robo against terran since cloaked banshees are brutal..

(never queue anything.)

Once people learn how to stop one base timing attacks like 4 gates, and that's all you've used you will be way behind in a few months. People will be expanding way more instead of sitting on one base for so long, and have a safer all around build, along with the map pool getting updated with larger maps (reason why 4gate works so well is because of how small the maps are). They really shouldn't be going mash banshee, but cannons suffice and you can storm the location where they are cloaked.

1 cloaked banshee can win a game/throw somebody off their macro. I never said anything about 1 basing, lol. A 4 gate is very flexible in many ways. You can go and say "macro until 50 food and attack > expand". This all depends on how the protoss likes to play.
In pvt i only make stalkers and zealots until mid/late game, robo pumping out obs and actively scouting, and expanding on 4 gates.

Never queue anything huh? Lol how do you macro? You do not build any units then?

I said expand on there but thanks for clarifying it anyways. HT is always fun when its marine/marauder/medivac. I like to use colossus and micro since I am decent at that. Like I said if you want any other builds just ask I can throw the build order up.

Lol, building and queuing are two different things. Building is when the unit is being produced. Queuing is when you have 1 building, and one in the queue. It's wasted money since you pay up front for the unit before it's being built.

The money will go to the unit anyway. I can understand if this is the beginning of a match, but mid-late game, it doesn't change much unless you are low on mins.

It always matters if you're macroing properly as you will always be low on minerals. Builds have been made so they can be utilized to their full potential. You can run 4 gates off of one base getting every gate cd and have 50-100 minerals to spare each time.
Queueing is just a really bad habit to get into.

I prefer strategic queing. I mainly que at the start of the game during the start of my build order when it doesnt effect me at all to que. But i dont que if im my current supply is the one i need to build at. or if my macro goes and dies(which happens alot when im fighting someone)

Honestly i don't even recommend that. Even if your macro is going to crap, get a few upgrades. It'll help you in the long run if you dont queue and just hotkey your unit producing structures and cycle thru them every now and then.
The only time you should queue is during the very start if you can queue an scv or probe, unless you're 1 away from supply cap of course.

Yeah, qeueing is bad. You might have enough for a tech structure, but you have a unit qeued so it takes like 6 seconds off you being able to get it. Sign of a good player is being able to switch back to the gates and build a unit right as the last one finishes, never wasting minerals/gas in queues.

Also, I'm saying 4 gate is a one base timing attack that has to inflict a lot of damage for you to expand and take the game. If you don't it fails, and you wasted to much money on units and not on teching etc, putting you behind. Once people learn how to shut it down completely, you won't be able to do that damage (not allowing you to expand), and they will end up beating you.

That's if you do a timing attack. A 4 gate is a normal build, just 4 gateways producing units. It doesnt have to be an all-in or anything. You dont have to cut probes or not expand because you're going 4 gate.
You dont HAVE to tech up to win by any means. As i think i said earlier in pvt i make only stalker zealot off of 4 gates. I only make hts or immortals/w.e late game.
"(not allowing you to expand)" This is wrong. Lol. Pushing out allows you to expand. If you're going to lose a fight, pull back.

My bad I didn't use the correct terminology, BUILDING is what I meant. I always have units building at every unit creating structure. I am not the master of terminology when it comes to SCII so give me a little bit of a break. So yeah BUILD a probe and a unit at every structure you can at all times. Being low on minerals at all times is what macro is really...

O i know its a bad habit and im trying to break it, but when i let my building sit idle for awhile and some how get 4k minerals its just seems natural. Im also really bad about upgrades but just stuff im working on. I feel getting my build orders down is the key for me ATM, I can beat Toss, I can beat Terran but Zerg is my real weak spot, havent really found the answer to them yet.

The only real time I have a problem with Zerg is when they 6 pool me but only in 2v2, in 1v1 as long as I have my one zealot at my choke i am usually good. I can usually start putting pressure around the 7-8 minute mark and as long as I keep it continuous I usually beat Zerg easy. If you need to work on build orders hit me up and I will send you mine and you can try them and see if you like them better.

Yeah, it all gets easier after a while. But in my opinion i'd focus on straight macro as you rank up. Build orders arent key at low level play, yes they may give you an edge, but not if you can't macro ;P

I'll show you how a real zerg plays. ;) Most zerg players dont utilize nydus or even the speed of lings/roaches. Also their macro is generally terrible :\

I feel having a build order is very important. I like the feel of having a plan. My macro will come with time but for now having a plan seems to be working out for me. And no my plan is not 3 rax. Far to easy to beat. I prefer things like the 1/1/2 vs toss and just Marine Viking Tanks vs Terran. Just need find what i like against zerg and ill be set. My Macro will come with play time.

You missed the whole point of my post. Just pushing out isn't going to help when your whole army gets demolished once people learn to destroy 4 gates, expanding while you push doesn't matter if your army doesn't do anything. It's pretty heavy in you either do damage, and expand, or your army fails you wasted a ton of money on units and can't expand because hes pushing back into your base. Your probes do get enough to get enough units out to do damage (there is usually slow down of probes around ~22), so it's semi all-in but with a transition out of it.

4 gate is a timing attack, that's why it works. It capitalizes on the transition to lair for zerg and the slowdown of unit production, and the lower number of marauders the terran will have

Maybe it doesn't matter in the lower leagues, but if your 4 gate doesn't do any damage in higher leagues the game is basically over for you. 4 gate is a timing attack, that's why it works. a 4 gate by itself is not all in at all. You may chose to cut probes to get upgrades but you can maintain constant unit production and probe production with 4 gates on 1 base.
And i'm diamond. Also, 4 gate by itself is also not a timing attack. A timing attack is timed with something, say zealot leg speed. Then you can call it a timing attack. A 4 gate can be tons of things, it's probably the most flexible build other than the terran 1/1/1 build. You can do a defensive 4 gate and expand. In no way is a 4 gate a timing attack, seeing as it's a build.. not an attack.
