Minecraft still free (for the moment)

For those of you who dont know, Minecraft is a fun little indie game. And as a show of its popularity, this Saturday after an update was released the servers were so flooded he (the creator) had to knock the site down to its basics. Anywho.. while its down, Minecraft is free to play. It was suppose to go back up today, but its still down. If your interested you should check it out while you can.

I agree. All we want is linear gun metal gray FPS's with generic and mind numbing story produced by the big 'n evil corporations. Is it so much to ask?

Minecraft is a lot of fun. You can't judge it just by it's graphics.

Watch all of this guy's videos (well, there are like 50. Just watch the first few in the series)... it's his experience playing through minecraft for the first time. Awesome, Awesome stuff. If you don't like it, you don't like it, but he certainly turned me on to the game.

I judged this game by its cover at first and then I decided to give it a try, now I am hooked. If you like sandbox games and legos (now or when you were a kid) and things like that its fun to play and believe it or not the graphics have a nostalgic kinda feel to them that make this game a pleasure to play at least for me.

Wow, this is way more fun than the free version. I'm going to have to get it sometime. Maybe soon.

And no, I never gave a thought about graphics...silly me.
