Itunes help?

hopefully you guys can help with this, since i cant seem to find a solution online
basically i have a few songs from an album that wont sync onto my 16g ipod touch
any time i try i get the following message
"_____ were not copied to the ipod because they cannot be played on this ipod"
2 songs from the album sync, but nothing else from the album does

i should mention that i can play the songs on itunes, just not my ipod

hasnt happened for any music ive had before

Did you try the iTunes site? I've found that their FAQ is one of the more fleshed out, and their email support isn't terrible.

what format are the songs in? ipod is pretty garbage when it comes to file format support.

the entire album in question is in MPEG audio format

I don't believe the iPod supports MPEG
