No only eGO member can join a Edge Gamers Event, That is why there is a password only found on the forums

before correcting someone you should make sure you are right, im not sure how css does things but dods events often have non eGO members in them

Okay, after finally getting around to reading this, as a fellow recruiter, I love these threads and think you've done an awesome job !

Just a couple of suggestions, I find some things that lure people in is our structure and free admin. I know people who join merely because of the opportunity to admin, this should be used to our advantage. I also believe that our management structure is one of the best, if not the best in the gaming community and should also be shown off.

It's time consuming to write this thread but when apporaching people, telling them about our huge events like scrim leagues with Novint Falcon prizes, the $100 visa card for the DOD:S halloween frag night. There are no participation fees and in return we get some pretty huge prizes and have a damn good time. They'd be crazy not to want to be a part of these

Finally, the competitive section for them competitive people. I find telling the better fraggers that eGO was FBG's Number 1. Clan/scrimming clan is always good. Doing things like saying we have a private scrim server set up where we practice 2 times a week and things like that if we get in. And yes you are right about the chance of rejection. (This is just CS:S info on scrimming and only 5 people scrim at a time, the team isn't larger than 10 people... I don't think) . They are still looking for scrimmers though !


Also, don't worry about the CC, I'm just "into" recruiting .

personally i think you guys go overboard on recruiting prolly about 20 times i had to leave a server that i was just trying to play a game on because every 3 dam seconds i was asked if i wanted to join.
