Render (DEF): Refers to the process of adding realism to a computer graphics by adding three-dimensional qualities such as shadows and variations in color and shade.

Rendering (DEF): Producing the final image from the draft work; (in 2D, the draft stage is the line-test, in 3D it is wireframe). The rendered image is the one seen in the final image.
