Fallout New Vegas

Never liked the story in F3. It revolved mostly around finding your "loving father". Let's be fair, 10 minutes does not make me bond with him in anyway, and I gave up the main story for the first 16 hours of the game.

I always felt the main story with the father was more like a side story. And if 10 minutes isnt enough to bond with him then dont bond with him, hehe shoot him if you want ...he will get back up but that means you can do it again! :chair: I liked my play through actin like a psycho (evil path) destroying everything I seen and the fathers reaction to it all. Now about the "Lets be fair" part ...Lets be fair I would not want to have the first few hours of gameplay me crawlin on the floor going Da Da. :glare: nor the boring close quarter living in the vault either. My favorite part about Fallout 3 is I get to see my home town in ruins I live on Fallout 3 map

Fallout 3 was great and New Vegas is even more fun. The weapon mods are a nice touch.

Totally. The RPG style of game that gives you a past to start with is pretty cool. It was kinda nice being able to pick off how you're gonna start as well, as in skills and such.
And the best thing about the BB gun was shooting them in their rears. Then attempting to escape Vault 101 with it. Gaurds going crazy and shooting you, and you're like "SUCK THIS!!" *pfft pfft* (<--- BB gun shots, shush).

Haven't played NV yet, so I can't really compare them, but I've heard it's pretty damn awesome.

Yeah, I loved the part about the baby. New Vegas, in the beginning is quite alright, but I think they should have gone further then that to draw in the player into the core of the game of itself.

I beat hardcore mode, and all i got was a silly achievment... i think you get your special item when the dlc comes out that actually allows you to play afterwards

Loved the first "cut scene" for the guy, not everyday you see a doctors head spin round and round

i've only been playing a couple hours but loving this game. this is the type of game i like to really dive into and take my time with.
i thought this game wouldn't look that great since its the same engine as fallout 3 right, except it does with everything on max.

just like the classic stalker with better graphics - im down. i think i'll enjoy this game much more than the new stalker
