Being the average student I am at my High School in Texas, I laid my head down to take a couple of snoozes during class (This is one of those "Do as I say, not as I do things" Stay awake during class, it helps). The way I fall asleep is I start to think as much as possible until my brain gives up and shuts down. It was going good, and I got to thinking about how wonderful Friday is, and then it hit me.

Tomorrow is the beginning of the 3rd Realism War Campaign. If you're not excited about this, buddy you're playing for the wrong team. It doesnt matter if you're part of the Allied Invasion of Europe or if you are trying to keep the Nazi Iron Fortress of Europe intact; you should want to be apart of what I like to call "eGO History" for we can reshape our imaginary worlds into what could have happened, if we were this awesome with K98s and Garands in real life, and stuck in WW2.

did you know that for 50 minutes a day 5 times a week Dr. Compton sleeps on a couch (yes a comfy couch) during school hours?

must think of alot

Well, that was the couch I didnt fall asleep on Yesterday, Because Realism kept me up, Its a legit class.

would sign up for realism..but you spend more time talking and standing around then playing..honestly if down time between matches could be shortened and if it felt less like a popularity contest count me in!!...im thinking im going to get some flack for this

And Im gonna be the guy who gives it to you!

The fact is Realism has a set of rules, and in order for you to follow the rules, we have to explain them; unless you're some sort of mind reader. So yes, we spend the first few minutes of every Realism night to go over these rules so everyone can have an enjoyable time.
As for the popularity contest, lets be honest, if you had to pick between a regular of Realism, over a person who you're not sure about , who would you pick?

But thats for a regular realism, For the Tournament the teams stay the same for the length of the Campaigns, and the Commanders of both Armies are fair, and will pick you if you happen to join vent, and there is a handbook that you're expected to read before hand now, so the time between rounds is now significantly shorter.

I hear yah compton..dont hate me..cause i dont hate you or anyone in this clan...but i feel yah...just dont like the clickyness of it thats all...but lets all hold hands and love one another...ill sign up for next weeks and prove myself wrong...peace in the middle east

I some what agree with you. The wait is long. Its a mad dash for the rooms, while the leaders of all the teams get reserved slots. :D I like regular realism the best, I think its more lax and gives a lot of people a chance to lead. Having said that, I think a mix of realism tourneys and regular realism is the way to go. Because they each are fun in their own way.

I dont hate ya Rico, Im glad you're gonna sign up

And Chili, they dont get a reserved slot, Ravage and his XO get one, but last Campaign Ron had me sit out the first round the third match for another player to get in.

That's the part I enjoy about realism. The atmosphere and people, the gameplay just gets my heart beating. Will the allied Tommygun come now... or now? :scared:

It's just so much fun IMO

as a High School teacher. I do Not recommend sleeping in class :) I drop text books on the desks of sleeping students :)

My teachers would always do that to me. Or, they would just throw something at me, usually the book they tend to drop.

And Compton, you better enjoy that sleep while you can! Once you hit college + work + tryingtogameasmuchaspossiblesoyouslackoffonhomework, then you'll miss the days when you could lay your head down in class for a nap (and possibly get hit in the head by a book).

Good post mate. It was fun last night (though I failed miserably -.-). See ya'll next week!

Our teachers don't care as long as they get paid. :chair:

falling asleep in class at my college will get you sent home for the day (loss of like 90 points off the 1000 point scale)...

-start hijack-

btw compton...what kind of dog is that in your pic?

-hijack complete-
