Gaming PC build

I'm looking for a PC gaming build that will run all the newest fps games on high without much of a problem. I have a gaming psu, dvd drive, and hard drive already, so those don't need to be included. So ya. Just shoot what you think is good. I don't care if it's intel based or amd based.

I would personally just go to Newegg.com and piece together a custom pc if you have the know-how to assemble it once the parts arrive. That would ensure you have the best and would be able to handle the progams and games you want to run. I would pick and intel chip and nvidia gpu too but that me.

I'd look for a cheap amd solution. Triple cores are good solution as anything more would be overkill. As far as graphics, it's a throw up. Prices are going down and the 460 is looking to be a good cheap card for all todays games. I'd usually recommend an intel CPU, but with new socket generation around the corner, it's probably best to sit and wait.

we're looking at Q2 2011 for both SB and Bulldozer. If you are going to upgrade, I say do it anyways.

PSU is a 700 watt gaming one. I forget the name, but it's one of the top ones in that wattage. I built my current computer. I would prefer under $500 for budget. Also, this may be put off if a patch that fixes the framerate issue in black ops comes But right now my comp has trouble with a couple of the newer titles, so i'm looking into the upgrade..

with that type of budget its going to be all-most impossible to get a gaming machine that will run the newest titles on high without much of a problem unless you can upgrade your current hardware to support your needs better.

are looking to re-use the current case your hardware is in or wanting a newer one?

Takes a little more info to get proper lists built and estimates, gotta know all your needs.

There are crap 700w PSUs, and there are excellent 700w PSUs.
