Sketchy kill, anyboy else?

So, last night I was playing in regular rush with just a couple of pubs and I got killed in the strangest way. I shot(and killed) a pub from across the map and a moment later was killed by the same person's grenade. He was way too far away from me to have hit me with it, like 4x too far. I was enough taken back to check the pub's gameme and bfbcs stats to see if there was anything fishy going on. The pub's stats looked normal(terrible actually) so I'm convinced now that it was a glitch in the game(maybe like the rocket vs. tree ricochet). So, my question is, has anyone else seen this? I've got some 550 hours of game play and it's never happened to me before(that I know of).

Smells fishy to me... I can't figure out a single way to extend the distance of my nade throws. I've tried jumping (like you can with c4), but no avail. So if you think it was 4x the real distance.... I'd just go with a glitch.

Ya....That sounds pretty fishy to me. Nothing has ever happened to me like that.
