What games do you think are overrated?

Crysis, Crysis Warhead was so much better gameplay wise.
I wouldn't think MW2, you just gotta learn how to play it.
Neither for CS:S, it's the standard for pro gamers.
TF2 is way overrated sometimes, TFC was gameplay wise better due to the grenades. I don't really care much for buying items.
Halo, oh yes. Halo 1 and 2 had the worlds worst FPS engine, I played HL2 on my Xbox and PC and when comparing them with the graphics of HL2 they were just horrible. Halo 3 made the graphics better but I still don't agree on gameplay.

Halo Series (Its an average shooter, nothing more)

For PC maybe, but for the console industry it revolutionized how FPS game controls were mapped. You can't find a single game on any game console these days that doesn't borrow at least 2 assets from Halo 1s control scheme.

Also, its the only console FPS I'll play without a mouse and keyboard.

yeah, farmville is pretty over rated.
I hate to break it to you farmville addicts: THERE IS NO TYPE OF STRATEGY INVOLVED. All you do it point, click, wait a few hours (or even a day) and then return and to the same thing over and over again.
Also, crysis is over rated. It looks pretty, sure, but from what I've read the graphics don't do much to compensate for the shallowness of the gameplay.
Look at GTA 3 for example...
Its graphics are awful, but it still is a great game. So i think one thing the developers need to try to do is maybe give Crysis 2 a bit more depth in terms of story and gameplay... in addiction to making it pretty :biggrin:

WOW. I cant stand the idea of unicorns and fairies prancing around an open ended world where some jerkface with endless ammounts of time has better shoulder thingies that make them immune to anything i do. In short i have neither the skill, lack of social life, desire, or commitment to level completely. Besides, not shooting things in the face goes against every fiber of my being. Therefore anything with more than a start menu is dead to me ie. RPGs, most RTS', even some DVDs. (Dont worry Strat and WOW divisions i still have some minor respect for you all. )
