So...yeah. When I first heard about this movie I was nearly 110% certain that it was going to be a CGI animated kids film. Like a follow up to Monster Vs. Aliens...and then my friend showed me the trailer last night. It's a ridicules premise and all, but it looks like it just might be the most entertaining film of next year.

What do you guys think?

Horrible! Want a good western movie watch Tombstone or Unforgiven. If you want something older? Rent some John Wayne movies
 
Someone tell 13 to stop making movies and go back to House, can't stand that new girl.
 
Honestly, when I first saw the trailer in theatres, the first 30 seconds hooked me.

Then I saw the theme. Cowboys and Aliens.

I don't know how well this movie is gonna strike. I mean, alien movies are dying out for me, just like zombies/vampires did in the last movie trend. And cowboys are pretty awesome, but do they really mix with aliens?

Also, this just seems like a completely ridiculus idea for a movie if you ask me.

But, the actors look good, and the effects amazing, so perhaps this movie might just surprise me.

We'll just have to see.

Oh, but come on. It's a movie starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford, where they fight aliens in the wild west. I mean what better stupid popcorn movie could you ask for?


Anyway, if you liked Unforgiven...give The Proposition. It's a really good Western...though technically not a Western.
 
film looks pretty sick if you ask me. not too many movies these days are actually "good" more or less just eye candy. looks eye candy like, but could tickle my fancy....always did like aliens O_o
 
Somehow reminds me of a NES game I read about a while back that had a Wild West theme and involved fighting ninjas.
 
Saw the trailer before a movie I went to see recently. The acting and effects look good, but the whole premise had me laughing. I was going to blow it off until I saw Steven Spielberg produced it. I'll probably give it a chance now on DVD, but it's not one I will go to see in the theaters.
 
This move is probably gonna be fine entertainment, but nothing very good nor nothing very bad.
