Round 1: Axis attack French beachhead within France on dod_cherbourg

The war in Europe wanes each day and the German forces find themselves pinched in the mainlaind. Desperate to breakout and dislodge the Allies from their coastal beachhead, Axis leadership has elected to assault the town of Cherbourg to alleviate the pressure on the western front.

Round 2: Allies attack Austria from North Africa (by way of Italy) on dod_donner

Recoiling from a confusing near-victory-turned-stalemate, Allied forces will charge north in an attempt to secure a second country bordering Fortress Germany. A win would be devastating to the Germans but a loss would find the U.S. Army driven back to the African continent.
