Blue switches, gotta love 'em. I know a lot of people are waiting for the Brown version of this board, but I like the clickys. Reminds me of the boards I grew up with. Not wild about the orange WASD keys, but I'm not likely to keep them on for more than a couple more minutes now anyway.

This is a mechanical one, which has lots of benefits I don't really understand but I'm sure are pretty legit.

Most gaming keyboard are rubber dome switches = waste of money. This one is a Mechanical Keyboard. Take a look at this thread at OCN. It explains mechanical switches in great detail.

Well, my G15 has an LCD which is handy for checking temps when in game, seeing who is talking in Ventrilo, game stats, clock, CPU/RAM/GPU usage, etc.

As far as just plain illuminated keyboards, I don't understand why they're so great either. Smoother key pressing and a couple of programmable keys maybe, that's all I can think of. Which is why I think the Razer Lycosa is very overpriced.

They would have to really stupid not to get into the mechanical market, or they are going to get left behind, since they are becoming more known people will start to ask for them or go somewhere else.

Check it out, costs almost as much as my dual monitor setup...BUT ITS SO PRETTY!!!!

Ebay? Do not want. How much is it new from Logitech?

According to their page it's $50 now.

I've used Ebay for years and have never had a single problem. I can still register the product and the warranty still works, so what's the harm in saving money? I do buy from Newegg sometimes, but for a keyboard and mouse it just isn't necessary.

From my friend's experiences, it's not reliable. Plus I just like getting my stuff from a trusted, reputable place that will fix anything wrong.

Also, why would you get a G15 when G19s are newer/better?
