I can't purchase tf2?

About a few hours ago, I went across the street to buy a 25$ Visa Debit Gift card so I can buy Minecraft, CS, and TF2. I activated my card on the website it told me to activate it on, and it was successful. Then, I went to my Paypal to put in my debit card. Again, I entered the same information and everything was successful. Then I went to minecraft.net and tried purchasing the minecraft beta which was 20.12$. I tried purchasing through my debit card and received this message:

Transaction error
An error occured and your purchase was not completed
Message from server: This card is ineligible for 3-D Secure payments.

I was a bit pissed off, so I went ahead and tried purchasing through my paypal and received this message:

You cannot complete this action on the card you have selected. Please select another card.

Now, I'm completely pissed off. So I gave it a shot and tried purchasing TF2 through steam since its 50% off. Guess what happened, I got another stupid message:

Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company.

Note that in some cases, your credit card company may put a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After reviewing the information below, if you believe your card has been declined in error please try your purchase again.

Now, I'm just completely mad. I wasted 25$ and I can't buy any of these games?

If anyone can help, I'd appreciated it. Thanks!

try loading the card onto your paypal like pay pal credit then try to buy? other than that i dunno id go rage at the card holder people

Go to the vanilla card site and activate it with like area code verification or something, then you can use it online.

I got this message yesterday when I tried to use my prepaid credit card to add money to my steam wallet. I tried a bit later and it went through though and I also purchased Minecraft.

Yea, 4 months ago I bought the exact same thing and I registered it on the same website. The card I bought four months ago was used for donating to eGO and it worked...but I never bought any items or games with it. The only difference now is the card color, this one is some sort of Christmas/snowy theme.

Hm, I don't know then. Mine is one that you load from your bank account.

I called the company and asked about the problem. I found out that the card is "Valid only in the United States" so I can't buy Minecraft. I ordered something on GaiaOnline and the payment did go through, so this means that Gaiaonline is in the U.S.

I went back to steam and tried to order but still doesnt work. Apparently, it's not in the United States...

That's odd. I've never even considered that there would be region restrictions. Have you contacted Steam?

Sweet! I'd been wanting tf2 forever, this could probably be the chance for me to finally get it. I believe the sale ends on January 2nd, so we still got a couple of days. <3 you too

As for minecraft, I just bought it through my sister's credit card. So now I have minecraft and only need tf2. How can this get any better?
