This thread isn't dying long as I can give CPR.

Whats everyone think of the upcoming anime lists? I'm kinda excited for Infinite Stratos, Deadman Wonderland (think this is the title anyways), and Freezing, provided they don't mess Freezing up.

Wow they're making Freezing animated? Sweet. I also want to watch Deadman Wonderland (Hardcore Manga man) Nice~ Thanks for telling me.

dont me to bump a dead animal in the abyss of the not 1st page of the thread listing BUT

I just marathon-ed Eden of the East and I have to say I've never been so thoroughly let down with an anime (Darker than Black Season 2 maybe). The Series has an 11 episode season and 2 ~80 min movies. The 1st season was amazing and suspenseful. It has such a great idea. Basically there are 12 people chose to recieve 10billion yen and change Japan for the better. The concept and execution were well done, though I'd prefer it if the premise were darker and more cynical.

And then we have the movies, They make me hate myself for wasting the time just to see the resolution to the plot. The first movie was OK but the second SUCKED!! I mean sucked so hardcore that I with my limited literary talent could wrap this series up better. The ending sucks the suspense and charm of the season is absent, and bam cheesy story elements seem to just line up perfectly or disappear.

TL;DR
Eden to the East was an anime whose first season was good and had so much potential. Then the creators decide to [explicit] it up with some [explicit]y barf thrown at you to leave you feeling empty

D.Gray-Man looks like it's heading for an ending probably in two years or so, but there might be enough plot points to keep it running for a looong time...it's annoying.

Watched half of Fate Stay Night, had my brother summarize the second half. It was weird and crazy, but pretty good.

Watched a few episodes from the beginning/middle and at the very end of .hack//Roots, it's kind of silly. My brother once again summarized all the holes, and is planning on borrowing .hack//GU. Seems pretty interesting, but people in that game are hardcore roleplayers :p.

I finished watching "eyeshield 21" last night.

overall, i was pleasantly surprised with it.

it's about a about a boy, who gets picked on all his life, and then starts to play American football (in japan).

It starts off a bit "dry", but after a few episodes, i found myself chuckling a lot.

Disappointed, Saber was awesome.

I just started watching Full metal panic, the show is so freaking great.
The comedy and battle scenes are well-done

For a good shounen/action manga I know one that just recently finished in December.

Psyren
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/psyren/

I liked the abilities and action that showed up in Psyren. The plot won't knock your socks off, but I think it did well.

Another one is Beezlebub

It is ok, but the plot is pretty generic for a shounen manga. An anime has been announced for the upcoming season if you want to start watching while you read or really like it.

Also looking at your list of read manga it seems you can handle ecchi well enough. A shounen manga that has been going on for a while and involves lots of damaged clothing is History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi.

Good old manly martial art fighting with lots of damaged clothing if you know what I mean.

Lastly my own personal favorite translated reading is Tower of God.
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/tower_of_god/

It is a Korean Webcomic (manhwa) so it is read left to right and instead of pages it comes in one long column, so be careful not to miss pages if you start to read it. I really like the fantasy setting seen in it and the characters have a certain depth to them.

Right now, I'm really hating D.Gray-Man's infrequency with updates. So much stuff is going on, so many plot elements are always being introduced...
Especially right now. Crazy stuff is still going on, even if it's different crazy stuff from when I last posted.

So unless you don't mind such open-ended, unresolved story updated every month-3 months, I don't recommend D.Gray-Man to anyone until it's finished. It's great, just takes forever to update.

I highly liked the animi that was based off that. Some really good fighting, a lot of jiggly and it really made me chuckle a lot.

I watched the first couple of episodes, but I gave up in the end. I mainly read manga now because I can go through the story much faster then the episodes. I only rarely watch stuff when I really feel into it.

With D. Gray Man every time a new chapter comes out I have no clue what's happening and forget half the characters.

This is the part where I brag about my long-term memory.
Then, this is the part where I feel bad because of my short-term memory...

I need something to watch! Suggestions people, suggestions!

P.S.: I watch everything from ecchi to mecha to romance to slapstick to yuri (not yaoi though- just no.). So give me something to watch!

Anybody watch the Jigoku Shoujo series. i love it so much... Those who haven't seen it should check it out.

As to GTO, going to watch it now. Thanks! Keep them coming!

Let me know what you think of it. I found it to be be very good, which surprised me since it's NOT based on fighting or competition or anything like that.
