People's Choice Awards, more like, Tweens Making Decisions Awards

Thats why we should all stray FAR FAR FAR away from MTV and "People's" (if you wanna call em that) Choice

Gotta love glorified popularity contests. Or more like, more tweens on the internet voting and caring than other people.

I hate watching any awards for movies right now, like every other one goes to twilight.

Inception was an emotionally dead movie. The characters could hardly emote beyond apathetic shrugs and grunts even in the most emotional of scenes. Twilight is the opposite of that, the characters displayed real emotions and you could really feel what they were going through. Twilight was the only film of the year to capture my heart, it really spoke to me.

Also Lady Gaga's Telephone didn't win best video, what the hell is up with that? Best music video ever.

This is your opinion & everyone has different tastes & what they like.
but, Twilight is a drama romance. It is bound to have more emotion displayed compared to a action movie.

Those two films should not even be compared to begin with, but; Inception kept u at the edge of your seat all the way till the end - and might I say the ending was super! Theres no doubt Inception has a very compelling story plot compared to just another vampire romance triller movie.

The story of Inception is hardly compelling, the movie holds your hand pretty much all the way through the film and feels that need to spoon feed everything to the viewer. But the biggest issue with Inception is that the writer created a tale where he could have written anything, I mean we are dealing with imagination and dreams here. He could have created one of the most mindbending and imaginative films ever, but instead he framed the story in such a way where he curtailed what he could have done. It's a disappointing copout and one that flies in the face of innovative filmmaking and storytelling...that and the ambiguous ending was mediocre at best and one you could see coming from a million miles away.

ouch... remind me to never question u ever again >> lol :crying:

It should have been a Tim Burton + Johnny Depp creation. Tweens love them some Johnny Depp.

Side note: I remember at the MTV VMA's a few years back when Pirates of the Caribbean beat out Superbad for funniest movie.

Thank you, at least someone else has good taste in movies in this thread.
Everyone else in this thread just got trolled. I think. I hope. I pray.

Inception wasn't mindblowing-amazing (though I believe it was damn good, just not the best I've ever seen), but it was definitely better than that 2 hour torture film I was dragged along to watch.

twilight only appeals to girls and women because they put themselves in the characters because bella the main character is basically fails at life completely has no defined look so aka any girl can liek O DATS ME I HAS two REALLY HOT GUYS THAT WANT ME.

Its just a cookie cutter poorly drawn out romance with vampire and werewolf crap thrown in
