Alrighty everyone, so I've been seeing this deadmau5 person all around eGO so I finally decided to ask the Google gods who exactly he/she was, after scanning through countless wikipedia pages I finally realized that I might as well look up one of his songs, which happened to be Ghosts and Stuff, my personal favorite. It certainly has been quite a long time since I listened to any form of electronica music in fact I think my last ever run in with it was Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger by Draft Punk. Now, I have come to a conclusion that deadmau5 gets a thumbs up for a couple reasons.
1.) deadmau5 is Canadian, it is hard to find any artists that do this kind of music that are Canadian (Plus I'm Canadian, soo....)
2.) The song Ghosts and Stuff is extremely catchy, and the short talking sequence near the end is really, really interesting.
3.) He was able to revive electronica music for me, I can actually listen to it a few times like I used to, unlike the new electronica music that is being released on a daily basis.
4.) Last and certainly not least, HE WEARS A GIANT MOUSES HEAD! I mean come on, how can you compete with that? HOW?
