Will a GeForce 6200 run the Source games well? Or STALKER, right now I have a 5500FX...its trashhhhhhh:thumbdown: anyway, im going to somewhat upgrade my computer, not all out, i mean i have a ps3 so i have no need to spend $3000 or have a computer that plays crysis 2 lol, but yea any input would be appreciated.

oh p.s i can play all source games they just really slow.... idk why :O

To put this bluntly... no. The 6200 was lowend 6 years ago. Nowadays, it's just junk.

If you're content with your PS3, that's all that you need. :)


Post your specs so we can see if anything can be done to speed it up other than buying a brand new computer.

(You can get a pretty decent gaming computer for under $1000.)
 
I played CS:S on a 6200 a few years ago. It ran great at 1080x720. That was WAY before the updates though.
 
might aswell just save your money, and build an entirely new rig. Really isn't worth investing in stuff that old.
