Warlock here postin yet another useless thred.

Well the problem at hand now is my wheight i weigh 90 KG+ and i am only 13, i am also starting to get a dubble cheek!

I need some help and tips to loose wheight fast an efficiantly without having to change my lifestyle dramaticly and i dont want any health issues at this young of a age.

I have lost 40 lbs in 2 years. Not including a substantial amount of muscle. I weighed 180 lbs at 13. I'm now 15 and will probably be around 130 by summer. Wrestling has changed everything for me with my weight. Wrestling will get you ripped as all hell, you'll be able to run miles and miles, and be healthy.

1) Eat less. Instead of 3 meals a day. Try an egg in the morning, a sandwich for lunch, and fruit for dinner. Why? Judging from your weight, you metabolism is probably slow, so eating a larger meal before dinner is not wise. Once you get healthy and thinner, you can eat a solid meal for dinner, just make it small.

2) Calories! You have to burn 3600 calories to lose a lb. I usually lose about 2 lbs a week. By that I mean, once I lose them, I do not gain them bake easily. You have to adjust bc of water consumption, and water retention. I usually eat about 600-1000 calories a day. NO saturated fat.

3) Join a sport. Although you may suck at first, once you lose the weight you will be much better. Since your about 190 lbs and 13, you could be a stellar linemen or a great 152 lb wrestler, depending on body type.

4) Don't kid yourself, diets are a joke. You have to change your entire lifestyle to lose weight healthily and keep it off. I had my first McDonald's in since last May yesterday. Not only do I practice, but I run every chance I get.

5) Don't expect instant results, and anticipate when you are going to hit a "wall". Once I got to about 145, I stayed there for 2 weeks. I couldn't lose it, then it started dropping again. It just takes time.

6) Get a structured workout, and stick to it. Working out will increase you metabolism and your body attempts to heal itself. The more muscle you get, the more you burn. Hence why muscular people tend to stay skinny. Muscle burns more at rest then fat.

7) Don't stop. It'll only make it worst. Keep at it.

8) and last but not least: EAT. I can not stress enough the importance of eating. Our 145 lb wrestler dropped 10 lbs in 3 day. Gained it all back with 2 sandwiches and a coke. Your body will switch into a "survival" mode.

Trust me it is going to suck. I watch my family eat fast food for dinner 3 times a week, and I don't even touch it.

Don't be discouraged by how little you can run. Last year I couldn't even run across the gym, I can now run 6-8 to miles, and not even be pushing myself. It won't be easy, but man, it is so worth it.

If you work out hard, you should see abs at about 12% body fat. I'm around 16% and can really only see the outline. It is the hardest part.

PM me if you need anything. I'm only here to help.

thanks! this motivates me, aint gonna be no pills or no junk like that for me! its probaly gonna be hard but its gonna be fun to se myself drop off my huge belly! im so glad now and i wanna be thin like i used to be in kidnergarden and this is gonna help me! keep postin!

Simply recognizing you have a problem was the first step. The second step was asking for help.

About 8 years ago, I dropped right at 100lbs of weight (over the course of about 2 years).

It does not matter what "diet" or gimmick you try. The simple rule of losing weight is..

what goes out must be more then what goes in...

Whey protein works great for muscle gain. Although I'd the wight first.

Also, don't get pulled into the "restaurant nutrition" gimmick. Just because it is made in a kitchen by a chef, and not a 17 year old in a Burger King does NOT make it healthy. I thought this in the beginning, and it will destroy your progress.

Double Cheese Burger (McDonalds)

Outback Steakhouse Burger

Good luck!

Alright, here's some useless insight from a pre-medical major.

1.) Continue to eat three meals a day, especially breakfast. Breakfast more or less starts your systems up for the day. You're refueling your body from the previous day's endeavors, which gives you energy for the rest of the day. If you skip breakfast, you tend to make unhealthy choices later on during the day and are less likely to want to be active.

Key concept: Starting your metabolism for the day.

2.) Everybody is on a diet in technicality so move away from using the word in a negative way, "Oh, I'm on a diet." Every organism has a diet and it is simply the food that you intake. Now, continue to eat three meals a day as it is much simpler at your age than eating five meals per day. Your body is going to continue to need the calories regardless of your weight. What you need to do is change your diet and there are two ways of doing this:

a) The cold turkey method where you instantly change everything about your diet.

b) You slowly phase into a new diet.

I suggest b as it is easier on your body, especially if you drink a lot of caffeinated soda. Slow replace soda with water. If you're hungry between meals eat healthy snacks like fruit.

3.) Work out. Becoming active physically is another aspect that can be phased in. Come up with a way of making your body work more during the day in order to burn calories. Instead of taking escalators/elevators take the stairs. Go for a walk/jog everyday. I'm going to assume that you aren't very active currently so things like I previously said are your best bet initially. Once you begin to lose weight/increase your endurance a little I would suggest turning things up. Run. Lift weights. Do push-ups. You may not lose as much weight but remember, muscle weights more than fat.

I've managed to trim myself down over 30 lbs in the past year and a half by going on walks, bike riding, drinking a lot of water, and cutting out sodas from my diet. Cutting soda alone contributed to about 10 lbs in the first month few months alone. I could still lose some more weight but it's baby steps!

i think i wont have any problem drinking water and cutting soda cause i have 2 1,5 liter botles of water in my fridge and one is standing next to me, on avrege i drink one and a half bottle a day

i lost about 55 lbs in about 2 months because i went on a diet and worked out everyday ( i also had a personal trainer too ). this might sound funny but i went on the slim-fast diet. now im not say you should but it did work for me.

This is what you should do:
wake up eat breakfast
then half way between breakfast and lunch have a small snack (an apple, a banana, yogurt, something small)
then later you have lunch (not a lot of food)
then half way between lunch and dinner have another snack (just like the other snack)
then have dinner (you should have more veggies then anything)
then later have another snack (again something small)
and don't forget to work out during the day (wake up and go running before school, dont play video games all the time, just get active out side)
but why you should eat more smaller meals during the day is it gets your metabolism up and then your body will burn off the food faster.
but just eat health and get active and keep drink lots of water.
i hope this might give you an idea of what maybe you should do but good luck and just keep at it. :)

i also am trying ot lose weight, im just trying ot get more active and cutting out bad food, the soda cutting hasn't been to bad since i have done it in the past PLUS it seems recently soda makes my stomach hurt really bad...so even if i wanted it i drink half of one and I'm like "bleh" so now its already psychologically in grained if i drink it its gonna hurt me so i don't even want it

After I started working out regularly at the gym, I realised how hard it is to burn the calories of some of the things I used to eat.

For example - it takes me 30 minutes on a treadmill to burn a Mars bar (more or less). This made me think real good before eating one since I realized how much work I have to do to make up for that chocolate bar. I quit eating chocolate for good after about 2 weeks of gym.

Drink lots and lots of water. Have a huge, full water bottle (non-plastic, btw) near you at all times to make you less tempted to get up to get a soda.

The more exercise you do, the healthier and happier you feel (endorphins), leading you to want to do more exercise and eat even healthier. It's a very nice chain. :)

Good luck!

Drink a lot of water....just a little bit of dehydration can slow down your metabolism by anywhere between 3%-10%

Just an idea. We can all give you advice on how to lose weight, but all the methods and tips we give you worked right for us. That may mean it may not work right for you, and you just gotta find a different method. One way to work on losing weight is to visit a nutrionist, for some analysis and advice as they have the knowledge of what you should try to do, and can adjust your eating menu as you progress. Some advice I received is to work out 3-4 times a week, roughly 30 minutes of weight lifting and such, then an hour of cardio. The weight lifting and all burns the energy you have stored up in your body, and the additional hour of cardio will begin working off the fat and toning your muscles. But as I said before, it can't hurt to visit a nutrionist or workout trainer.

I'm not really active and I kinda eat a lot(people said I was going to end up fat, I LOST weight instead O.o?),I keep thin by not eating much on weekends or for lunch.

The key thing is to eat 3 main meals a day and not snack the whole day through! Eating breakfast is probably your most important meal of the day, It starts your motabalism. Also cut out the junk foods like chips/candy/ready cooked food. Experiment with meals, eat vegetables with your meals. If you get hungry through out the day, have a piece of fruit! A banana and an apple will keep you going until your next meal.

Good luck mate, all the best.
