It looks really sexy. There is a lot of info on it and the games right now being covered on Kotaku.

The original PSP was kind of a disappointment, over it's lifespan there were only a few good games. Right now I just use it to play monster hunter..

Think I'm just going the 3DS route.

Did they state how games will be purchased? I'm assuming it is download via PSN only like PSP Go. I kind of wanted the Go just because I liked how it flipped and what not, but now I can put that thought behind me with this...dual analog sticks!!

Looks like Sony's making it download via PSN only. From what I have heard its not backwards compatible.

Most of it are download, theres no more use for UMD anymore... which is thank god for that... >.<

If they're gonna go full download it better have a giant hard drive.

It won't be full download people.

Here's how Sony describes it: "NGP adopts a new game medium, a small flash memory based card, dedicated for NGP software titles. Taking advantage of the flash memory feature, this innovative card can store the full software titles plus add-on game content or the game save data directly on to the card. By adopting flash memory based card, SCE will be able to provide game cards with higher capacity in the future, allowing developers to store more game data to deliver rich and immersive games."

I'd argue that the PSP was pretty good... so long as you had custom firmwarm installed. All of the applications I have installed on my PSP, like a comic book reader and an MKV player, really make it a nice addition when I go on long trips.

Why does Sony still let Kaz "RIIIIIDGE RAAACER" Hirai announce their new products.

Seriously, he just stands there silently for like 25 seconds...it's creepy:

Oh, and Kaz's other glorious moment at a Sony Press Confrence:

I saw this thing at Best Buy the other day. It was like $250 for it, with two games already loaded on it. :\ Bit pricey if you ask me, and it seems it would be better to get a regular PSP? I didn't load myself down with specifics (I got distracted at the Little Big Planet 2 kiosk.. >.>), but it seems to just be a smaller PSP. So, unless size matters... what's the difference?

You probably saw the older PSP 3000 or the PSP Go.

This new PSP hasn't even gone into full scale production and the release date hasn't been announced. Sometime in late 2011 is pretty vague.
