Steam friends chat typing backwards

Hey guys!
I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix/stop the problem where occasionally steam friends will start having text entered backwards.

For instance:

=(eG)=? Crazyrockets (R): !wtf gnipyt sdrawkcab
=(eG)=? Crazyrockets (R): P: emas eht era ftw dna wtf woh eciton uoy
=(eG)=? Crazyrockets (R): lol
=(eG)=? Crazyrockets (R): sdrawkcab gnipyt si ti yhw wonk t'nod i

where I was typing the stuff normally, but it was being entered on the screen from right to left.

Seems like a lot of people have been having this issue for a while.

First things first... Have you installed any new language packs or language tools recently? Windows language toolbar (or whatever it's called) might be using a hotkey to switch languages.

Also, there are some Arabic characters that have been known to cause people to start typing backwards in steam programs. So if you're copying and pasting someone's name that has stars in it, they're probably Arabic characters.
also, Unicode Character 'RIGHT-TO-LEFT OVERRIDE' (U+202E).
Sadly, I don't know of a fix other than "don't do that".

This is nothing to do with unicodes or w/e.

Its just a simple bug where when you click in the steam chat sometimes the clicky thing messes up and it goes behind the thing.. its a little confusing but to fix it, just click in the type box again and it fixes.

I have also seen this issue resolved by clicking in a chat box that doesn't have the issue when having multiple conversations. Than just click back. Ot does seem to be a HUGE issue atm.

It happens to me a lot too. It's annoying, but clicking different chat tabs and switching back is what fixes it for me.
