Its an alright vid, he is a very good medic, I just didnt like all those 1 kill clips .

Heh, they're great medic plays, and he's playing against top tier players where a single kill as a medic is pretty impressive, seeing as though all those classes can two shot the medic, and it takes him 10-12 needle hits to kill a Scout at close range, and 15-20 for Soldier (both without overheals of course).

Taimou plays very similar to me. What pisses me off so much is most competitive teams hate that kind of medic play, and that's why I stick to pubs. The medic has to be one of the most unpredictable classes when it comes to competitive and Taimou just proved it.

At first, I wasn't particularly impressed... It seemed like a couple of kills from a skilled medic. But then it occurred to me that this was competitive play. That fact alone changed everything about what I thought of this.

For a Medic to get kills like that in competitive play, where the 'battle medic' is largely looked down upon, it's rather impressive now that I look back at it.

The reason teams hate that kind of medic play is because you didn't see how many times he failed at trying to get that many clips. Sure around the corner ubersaws work and clutch needles, but I'd rather have my medic give up a control point than stay in and fight scouts any day. He's a good medic and its a great video though, I think there need to be some more medic videos out there and that's the kind of gameplay that makes a medic video interesting.

I completely understand what your saying and agree with it as well, but there is a reason why there isnt very many medic vids out there, its not the best class to show some awesome kills.

Thats false the team I play on loves it when I try to ace the whole team when we are near wipe. I could heal my roamer after the pocket drops but I decide extra damage is more valuable.




I hope no one takes me seriously... But this video is inspirational I think I will take note and emulate in my next scrims.

There's gotta be a formula for it: The longer you play medic and just heal people, the greater your urge for a kill.

Thats exactly what I thought when I watched the video, I don't scrim but know enough to appreciate that just being able to survive is a huge accomplishment in many situations. (as a medic)
