Next eGO milestone = Site redesign?

[Krysalist]

Just thought it would be a nice idea to have a more 'modern' design if edgegamers reaches their next milestone like a certain number of members or like a specific anniversary date.

Post your thoughts

[BobWango]

as far as i know, the site has already been recently redesigned

[Lucas15]

The site is fine in my opinion. Do you know how long it can take to update a vBulletin theme? Especially if you only have about 5 people doing it.

[Darth]

Nope, I think its fine. The time and effort the forum guys went through to update it once is crazy. Maybe in a few more years if they get drunk, haha

[Krysalist]

Ah right I wasn't too sure about the amount of help needed on it, but if it comes to it, I'd be happy to help

[Manason]

I love the look.

[Roofus^]

I love the look.

True, its not bad, its not excellent, its just right for now.

[chapp]

The site looks great. And it was redesigned about a year ago.

[extremelyhotsauce]

It would be cool if when you moused over each division a rounded drop down box would slide down

1. The website has been constantly redone and revamped and new graphics added continuously since our "new website" came about.

2. If it is not broke, why fix it?

Try telling that to Facebook.

No, seriously, please tell them that.

[Cyberia]

Compare ours to others. Ours is brighter, better and much easier to navigate. I love it.

[mrcool]

I love ideas from new members.

No, seriously, please tell them that.

MySpace is 15 times worse.

[Fluxion]

I've been on many different gaming community sites and to date, have not found one better than what eGO has provided. Change? Hah. This baby is still kicking butt

[Duke]

MySpace is 15 times worse.

Who uses Myspace anymore?

And about this redoing the website, I think it looks fine and has looked fine for almost a year that I have been here.

[Krysalist]

Yeah I'm not saying the site looks bad or needs to be fixed in anyway, in fact it is a nice site, but I'm just saying maybe another look would be nice.

If we are looking to completely tank our hit count we could always pull a Gawker/Gizmodo/Lifehacker and completely ruin our website with a redesign... Man I hate reading Gizmodo now.

[Orangejuice]

sometimes I wish the site was coated in candy T.T

[Dead Tom]

Ok this thread has gone far enough off the tracks. Closed
