High School Map Error

I recently un-installed and re-installed steam and CSS, when I try to join the HS server its starts downloading the map and then I get an error that the map is missing. I have it set to allow all custom files from server. Help.

Sorry to hear it man, I have heard this coming up lately,
We have had some issue with that across all divisions.

There are defiantly people with this issue out there... See if you can search threw there, or create a new thread if theres nothing there.

download that .rar file
it contains the .bsp file you will need in order to play

put the .bsp file in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\"your username"\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps

once you've put it in that folder you should be able to join the server

Think there are issues with the fast download server right now.

It happens when the download connection fails. Just download any maps ur missing and put them into ur cstrike/maps folder.

You have to find the download of the map on FPS Banana (need Winrar to put the map file into your cstrike maps folder).

paste the bsp file in Local Disk (C: ) > Program Files > Steam > steamapps > account name folder > counter-strike source > cstrike > maps

and the cache file into the soundcache folder located inside the maps folder

If you dont want to download it and put it in, Use these in console then connect

cl_allowdownload 1
cl_allowupload 1
cl_downloadfilter all

I have had the same problem, I've just been downloading the jails maps however... hope it gets fixed because jail is my home and i don't want to be homeless..
