Cake, I have to be honest, you were making us mad... hahah. Nice engie skills.
 
Though I came in last score-wise, I didn't do too bad considering I played Robin Hood the entire game and missed 80% of my shots xD


Still, overall an excellent match and I cannot wait for more :D

lol i was doing pretty bad i think, since i switched through 3 classes during the entire match, but it was still very fun though.

No need to be sorry mate, being sick isn't quite something we can control at a moments notice. If you couldn't play, you couldn't play. Rest is far greater when sick, than blowing someones face off :P



@myusernameRocks: I feel you. When we started I was set up as an Engie, which didn't quite work so well given that I'd only played Black Mesa once, and there was only ME xD So I couldn't follow other Engies around :(


So then vudu kindly switched with me, and I went Scout while he Engied, that went better but was still horrible.


Finally someone, who I regretfully can't recall, offered to switch with me again, so I went Sniper and played with my bow the rest of the game :D


Got a few good shots off on some of you xD I'd forgotten how satisfying it is to WHOOSH an arrow away, you get that long pause before it hits, or doesn't, and then when you actually do hit someone there's that satisfying DING that goes off, and usually a kill count that follows xD I'm addicted once again rofl.

I believe that was Joshcash that switched from sniper. Yeah was a fun event would like to do this more often, I did not have much problems playing Black Mesa being I am always there anyway but I remember my first few times there getting lost, turned around, not knowing great spots for sentries, etc. I hated it at first but it grew on me after while and become fun. The matches do often end in stalemates however. I wonder how Warpath or maybe Convoy would do in a Highlander match.
 
just saw this... sad part is, i saw it after it was done.

If we doing this again, sign me up on a team i can slow down (i suck at tf2)

PS: What weapons would be allowed?
 
All weapons are allowed, i learned from this one that we will not be doing it on blackmesa ever again, the map was made in a way which gives each class its own place where it can kick ass when killing other people so i figured that would work out, but it doesn't. So next time we will probably go and do maybe some other non competitive map that can be used for competitive stuff.

Keep in mind, i really don't want this event to be a competitive event, which has no crits, no bullet spread, only on that stupid map that i forget the name of, and other boring stuff. Thats just not fun IMO, I'm not keeping that event like that for my own sake, but i know im not alone in thinking this. Others probably prefer crits, bullet spread, all that junk. And theres already a 6 vs 6 event thing in the works (I THINK.) With no crits, no spread and all that stuff for those competitive buffs out there.

Meh, to me all that No Crits, No Spread bull-shtuff reminds me of hackers back in all those Free FPS's I used to play. No Spread? No Crits? TF2 wasn't made for that, if I'm gonna compete in my TF2 I'd prefer it left the hell alone xD


So I'm right there with you Noise, give us some Comp, but keep it fun and spicy. I mean, I like the fact of knowing that if that damned Soldier hadn't gotten that 'lucky crit' I'd have had his face on a silver platter. Some people can't hack that, why? Cause they want to win, just like all the Hackers out there. Why fire off a clip and miss 80% of the shots when you can run around with No Spread and laser everyone? Boring xD

That takes all the fun out, crits make me laugh so hard if they are well place :-]
