I know I know, when you think of CS:S you think of kids, right? Well I'm glad those kids join eGO! I've been with eGO for 2 years and most of the kids that roll in to eGO have been pretty OK and have gotten a generalized bad rap because of their voices, which they can't control anyway. In fact, I'm glad they join eGO! I think eGO helps to shape them to be better adults for later in their lives. And I'm sure they get enough harassment being young and all, so go ez on dem css gaiz.

Vanilla is right. Although most of CS:S are younger, they're smart enough to have joined eGO in the first place to get away from that kind of harrassment. Plus, look at it this way; if we get in there and steal them away from CS:S like we did Vanilla and Abdul, we can convert them into DoD:S troops which we'll use to take back our spots in vent and on the forum tabs.

It was my nickname at school before I entered high school. I've always gone to schools that called each other by there last name. I left off the "n" on a test and then everyone called me "gibso". It stuck.

Im not into bashing other divisions, and neither are our other CS:S "children".
In fact Iv'e never heard of a CS:S member talking any less of other divisions members.
I feel that we are all part of this gaming community, In my mind;
The ideals of rivalry or childishness should not shape our image of any divisions.
Remember: We are one community, the only dividing part of "Division" is the literal meaning of the word itself.
And another thing, how would you like it if Artimus or Kamikazi Tommy looked down on your because your 20-something?
I feel welcomed by all of our leadership, especially when the highest ranked member of our community was the first member to write a personal visitor message on my eGO profile. They are not above us (they do have more responsibility, but they use it to serve back to eGO selflessly) just like we are not above the 13 year olds.
Im not trying to make a stink here, I know MOST of you are kidding around, so im just putting in my 2 cents.

Very good points Vanilla. But i think you have some things wrong. We have some younger members in our division and we treat them with respect and dignity, the way they sound doesnt matter at all-- only their attitude matters. I cant speak for everyone but i like to "jest" with our other divisions because it is entertaining and believe it or not it creates bonds. If anyone directs truely harmful insults at other members, regardless of their division then eGO might not be the best place for them. Im the kind of person who likes to channel my hatred into productive means like drinking, using the punching bag, gaming, and target shooting. Any comments that i (or most other DoD members) direct to other divisions is a form of comraderie that manifests itself in casual jokes thereby creating a report with people who would otherwise be strangers.
As has been stated numerous times in our threads, there is a major difference between casual or humorous remarks and flat-out insults.
