I would like to ask what would happen if you had no division.... do you just become something else to help eGO out?

you have to be in a division, its not possible to not be in one. closest thing to that is psc leadership whose division tag shows psc division.

You'd be in the uncool kids club. CS:S division is the cool kids club. ;)

Best Day Ever is the best mixtape this year. Can't wait for Rolling Papers.

I don't think you can't be part of a division.

You dont HAVE to be apart of a division. You just wont get promoted because you're no under anyones control at that point. You'd be your own powerless DL.

It's actually required that you be a part of a division, not just for promotion's sake but also for organization and counting purposes. When you apply, you must specify which division you want to be in. If at some point you want to leave this division, well you can take your divisional tag off from under your name but you are still a member of that division until you pm your DL and say you're moving to another division and then message the other division's DL.

So in essence you could appear to be divisionless by not displaying, but you are for all purposes always a member somewhere.

Yep, I haven't worn a division tag for quite a while; I started out in CS:S, was promoted to an eG in TF2, then was promoted to an eGO in CS:S again. Maybe they accidentally put me on both lists so I was only supposed to be promoted once :P

Basically, the best bet is to be "on the list" for whichever division you play with the most, because obviously that's the one where you'll get to know the most people, have the best chance of a promotion, and receive the most relevant admin training once you're promoted.
