Spray I assume you will account for the fact there are 3 Kalt categories, effectively diluting the vote of Kalt fans. Please do not gerrymander us

I voted for standard Kalt. I had a lot of great times when the Kalt server was up and running. I'd love to see it come back.

They tried that for the better part of a day. Like 3 people jumped in or something.
Also, the next day Anni put it on Kalt and we got like 16 people in there or something right away without any forewarning until we had to stop for admin training.

we got 6 for dust...and considering there was no steam announcement and the time it was pretty good. kalt had a steam message sent out durring one of the most active part of the day

de_dust fast respawn 1st choice, I feel that kalt had it's shot and failed. In terms of eGO chasing a trend maybe but at the same time the fast respawn is newish and frankly how is kalt trendsetting? A classic for sure but you can't be both a classic and trend setting.
In terms of the Jerrymandering effect, I don't believe votes for one necessarily translate for all things Kalt. I would support a Kalt classic well above a kalt rotation (i think this the worst of all possible options, with kalt instant respawn a close second).

Lol they were at the same time. And I don't count--I got on just to complain about how much I dislike that server and to run around with a pistol making people say, "Why is he just running around with a pistol? WTF?"

Well thats cause I was the one sent it out. I am sorry if no one did the same for Dust. You will see me to continue to do this for Kalt and our other servers you see empty. Heck we even filled up Argentan later that day after Kalt. People just need to take the time and get people to post the announcements, thats all it takes.

to be fair, i didn't say i could use them correctly, just that i could use them. And at the same time, my point is, that if kalt classic wasn't an option (as it had failed before) then rotation and instant may not have been chosen.

Because people are making the argument that "dust servers do well and there aren't high-ranked Kalt servers." So...instead of making the high-ranked Kalt server ourselves, we're saying, "Gosh, I hope there is room for another dust server to join them high in the rankings."
I have a little story for you. Quite frankly, I don't care to hear how flawed my example might or might not be, and this thread doesn't need to venture off in debate of that anyways.
Starting in the 1830's (yes, that is supposed to read "18__") there were cars being made. These cars were electric and became quite popular. In fact, this popularity continued to grow and grow over the next 70 years, well before Henry Ford's Model T automobile was made.
These cars were well-made and trend-setting. One even set the land speed record in 1898. But...these cars were limited in their abilities by the technology of the days. With the advent of utilizing fossil fuels, steam- and gas-powered cars left electric-powered cars in the dust.
But then something else happened...Suddenly in the 70's and 80's, people came to the realization that "we can't do this forever." Inevitably, fossil fuels would run out and the use of these automobiles would end.
In the 90's, scientists began to find a solution. They began to set a trend by revisiting the classic and began to release some electric and hybrid vehicles. These took some time to get off the ground (about 20 years!), but then people started speaking up and showing support for them.
Right now gasoline-powered cars still dominate the market, but electrics are making huge gains on them. Before we know it, fossil fuels (gamers who want just the newest games) will disappear completely and all we'll have left is electric (DoD die-hards). Currently some car-makers are being the ones to set that trend instead of seeing if somebody else will--and they're making a killing off of it.

How would we be Improving on the classic in this case? Innovation certainly does build off of other work. That's basically half of science, the other half is outright discovery.
Explain how we bring in the pubs to make a Kalt classic server successful. It's not as if we haven't already tried this and failed at it.
Innovation also must be an improvement, again as i feel the two changes on the classic offered would be detrimental.

Move on, I'm going to vote for something to do with Kalt because I don't like Dust either, however I wouldn't be opposed to a sampling of Dust on our Events server, perchance a Wild Card event some evening open to the public mm?
