The Royal Wedding??

It's a traditional thing, so it's a bit of a big deal I guess. I'm in Canada and since our government still keeps many close ties to the Monarchy in Britain (for tradition) there's a decent amount of coverage.
I don't care but I have no ill will either, best of luck to their marriage and congratulations to them.

Isn't Canada a member of the Commonwealth of Nations?

May I ask for what position is the election. I get about 0% Canada coverage.
Prime Minister is the big one and some other high seats. I'm not totally sure myself as I don't keep up with most of this.

Now let's get back onto the topic!

it doesn't even make sense for american media to give a crap "oh hey people that mean nothing to our country are getting married.......THROW OUT THE MEDIA WORTHY STORIES WERE GONNA TALK ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!!"

Also its just kinda stupid to me..royalty in a country that royalty doesn't hold any real power in ...basically their just glorified rich people getting married?..rich people get married all the time no big deal to me

Not quite true, the Queen still has the power to dissolve Government, over-rule certain acts, has complete control of the Armed Forces (though its mostly down to Government today) as well as some other things. Oh, and the main job, to wave a lot.

But I still have to go to work! Even though it is a dam Public holiday... :facewall:

Saw the clips of the wedding, best wishes for the bride and groom, they look and sound like classy people. I dig em.

DIG EM.

So I watched some of it this morning while I got ready for school. The roughly an hour that I saw (from 6-7 Am EST) was more of a church service to me then anything else. I only stayed watching because I figure there would be a break somewhere and there would be a weather update. I was sadly mistaken.
