How do you feel about Turbine?

Saw it come up a little in the meeting today, so I wanted to get an idea of how TF2 Division feels about ctf_turbine. I personally love Turbine, and miss having a 24/7 Turbine server.

I'd like to see the Turbine Server brought back.

It was alive and well until the change to 32 player slots in the server. Why is this a problem? Well, in general the rounds on Turbine last more than 10 minutes, and when you have good players on each team they can last almost an hour. It's usually very hard to push, lots of sentries are setup, and the struggle for middle is a prominent theme in every round. Now, the amount of explosions, spamming and sentry building is an issue with just 24 players...adding 8 more doesn't do anything but intensify the problem.

Please, if we deicide to make this a 24/7 server again DO NOT MAKE IT A 32 PLAYER SLOT SERVER!!! It doesn't matter if it becomes our #1 most popular server. The original formula obviously worked, so why should we tamper with something that doesn't need to be fixed?

If a Gravel Pit server was brought back, I would actually start playing TF2 regularly again.

On-Topic,Turbine can be fun, but isn't really my favorite. If anything, maybe in a rotation, with Gravel Pit, Dustbowl, Badlands, Fastlane, and Granary. All the Valve maps on one server would be nice. Oh, wait.

Turbine is one of those classics that would likely do well if incorporated on the Valve Maps server. If its popularity were to rise to an appropriate level, it could justifiably resume being its own server.

But I don't think this thread qualifies as a "missing map one" because it's just a poll to see what the division feels about. I thought that it was decided in the meeting that Turbine would be on Valve Maps as part of the rotation. In my opinion, the decision of making a server just for it could depend on the popularity of Turbine in the Valve maps server

Picked the "I don't like turbine and don't want to see it."

Well that's only half true, but it seemed to match my POV the best. I don't like it and I don't want to play on it but if it's a popular server I wouldn't mind having it back on eGO. I don't like valve maps because it has no crits and no spread, which is the whole reason I like TF2 better than games like DoD.

Yeah, I just remember someone in the meeting saying that if the community really liked turbine, then they'd think about doing something with it. I just wanted to get a better idea of what we all think of the map.

it will probably be just like all the other empty servers. now youll find ppl saying "i like it and i would love to play on it again" but when its there it just stays empty.
im not a big fan of it so i dont mind it being gone.

I like it, but from what I gather, Turbine was added again to boost Valve Maps... I returned to my server list twice today, only to see Valve Maps empty. Both times... It hasn't worked.
