first post in TF2 division...im seriously considering purchasing TF2...never played it or anything like that...DOD/DODs is pretty much my game...been playing it forever and while i still love it...im wantin to mix things up a bit...any pros/cons about the game i should know about while im considering making tf2 my next gaming purchase?

Well, theres Hats in TF2 which is pretty awesome.. and our servers are pretty populated all day.

amazing game man , for some reason there's a divison of it , you would no regret it. and it easy to dominate kek and thereven some of the worst players around here. just saying

the game gets constantly updated with new stuff and junk (mostly hats, but they do gameplay related stuff too, like new weapons.). The maps are awesome, theres 9 different classes, each with their own personality and set of skills and stuff. The tf2 eGO community (mostly its awesome on blackmesa and fails everyone else, but thats just the truth )
and theres hats. Gotta love them hats.

It's a great game, and Valve is always adding new content to it. The Class system TF2 runs on is great, you can always mix it up to a different character depending on the situation.

There are no cons for sure.

well first thing that comes to mind for me are random crits. You can be playing awesome, then go around a corner and SPLAT! Someone crocket'd you in the face.

Although I love it when I get crockets.

TF2 is very enjoyable. I prefer it to your average console Halo Reach type shooter.

Firstly, respawning isn't a chore. There are classes, all of which have different play-styles. Then you can change items in your class to create another playstyle. You don't have a level-up system so you are as powerful as another person from day 1, so there's no frustration about joining and lastly, it's so gosh-darned funny.

Oh, and hats. HATS.

I can tell you that only the sniper has sights, none of the other guns do. Many of the guns are unrealistic and a lot more variant. Instead of a kill game, it's more of a score game. The game doesn't even show your kdr, just your score.

Overall, it's pretty srs business, but it's also a fun, silly game. And of course, we've got hats and jelly, so come aboard!
