Pain Redefined's Band Of The Week

[Pain Redefined]

I realized I don't do much on the website so i decided to make a thread and since I love music I might as well do something with that. So I'm going to start posting my band of the week. Now some people may dislike these bands but thats ok, it's just to help get their names out there.

Also, feel free to comment on the bands I post and share some of the bands that you love!

So my 1st band of the week is: Broadway
They have 1 ablumd out and are currently working on the 2nd, I would expect to see it released this summer.

This week's featured band is one of my favorites, Of Mice And Men.
They have 1 album out and recently finished the 2nd and will be available sometime this summer. Their vocalist is also the orginal vocalist for Attack Attack! Make sure to go out this summer and check them out on Warped Tour.

This week it's time for a local band coming out of Iowa.
This week's band is A Past Unknown. They have their 1st full length album, "To Those Pershing", coming out in June and just recently signed to Red Cord Records. I have seen them live twice now and they are some of the nicest guys you will meet. Go and check them out.

This week's band is a band i recently saw last week in Iowa City, A Rocket To The Moon.
They are a lot softer and completely different than the other bands I've posted so far. What can I say? I have a soft spot for bands like this.

This week's band comes out of Florida, its time for some A Day To Remember.
They currently have 4 amazing cds out and were announced as one of the main bands for this summer's Warped Tour. I simply cannot wait to see them live.

They are pretty great alive. Especially in a small enclosed place like The Knitting Factory. They lead singer ran out in a giant hamster ball on top of the mosh pit.

This week's band is another band I want to see live very badly, The Devil Wears Prada.
Their most recent release was the Zombie EP back in the fall and I can't to hear some new stuff from them.

Ya ive been listening to them more & trying to get into their sound. I also really like A Past Unknown's sound. Keep it up with this thread bud. Since I still listen to some of this stuff, lets start talkin on Steam &/or Xfire & start bouncing off suggestions to each other.

I LOVE The Devil Wears Prada. They are the ones who started making me try out screaming as a hobby. I can't wait for Vans Warped Tour to see them this summer, it's going to be great. Also, I love how all of their song names are puns xD

My favorite is "Dogs can grow beards all over" at first it puzzled me, then it hit me, and now I laugh at the title every time it comes on.

That's a good one! That was the 1st song I ever heard by them and I still love it. My favorite names so far have been, "Lord Xenu, Reptar, King of the O-Zone and HTML Rulez D00d".

This week's band of the week is We Came As Romans.
They are yet another band I can't wait to see live and I look forward to seeing them at Warped Tour this year. I am also very excited for them to release a 2nd CD.

must say, we came as romans seems very promising. the co-lead singer really reminds me of justin bieber. i like how they blend the music together, esp the screamin & reg vocals.

They are OK live, but their clean singer does not sound very good live. However, on CD they sound really good.

Time for some band related news.
Of Mice & Men's 2nd album "The Flood" will be relased on June 14th and A Past Unknown's album "To Those Perishing" has been pushed back to July 19th. Stoked to pick up both.
