Since I was just reading the stickies (like a good little recruit)...it was interesting to note that the EdgeGamers trademark has since been cancelled/expired in Nov.2010.

So I was just curious what this means?

Good catch, I never noticed that it was canceled before. I guess that means that the tag is no longer protected by law... if you really need to know, you could PM Artimus, since he is CEO and would probably know what is going on with the trademark.

You should let him know. However, the only thing the trademark protects is no one else being able to use the name "EdgeGamers" without legal consent from Artimus.

Mm if you only knew what was going on with the "Edge" part. Artimus already knows.

The tags are still trademarked, property of eGO. The mark "EdgeGamers" was owned by someone else who lost it as the result of a legal battle with EA. We are in the process of getting that trademark.
