Today i did some much needed updates to my computer but now im expirencing some technical difficultys i can play TF2 and when im online the ad on the top of the site is very glitchy and flashes over the whole page if anyone can help let me know

Is this a TF2 issue or a edgegamers.org issue? It sounds like a edgegamers.org issue but the way you put it sounds like a TF2 issue. Clarify?

the ad thing is just on the web in general but the movement and such is a TF2 issue

Sounds more like a video card issue to me, but you might should post here in the Tech Help forums: http://www.edgegamers.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=379

In the advanced options, you can disable HTML in the message of the day. That should stop the video altogether, and should fix your problem. Assuming that's the ad you're referring to.. I'm not quite sure...

disabling the html did fix the ads issue and i think i found a solution to the controls issue
*update* i figured aout my ketboard reads they keys i press but it reads them all as numbers and only does it in steam games does anyone know how to fix this

*update2* it no longer appears to be a keyboar issue since outside of steam games it works fine and after trying a usb keyboard the same thing happend so i think its an issue with my steam account

It's not a steam issue, i would hazard a guess at it being something to do with lag or rates, verify your TF2 game files first and then defrag them and tell me how it goes.

ive verifyd and defragged the game but no luck the reason i think its a steam issue is that its on all of my games not just TF2

*edit* i figured out what exactly ishappening when i press a key it reads it as a number for example if i pressd Z iw would display a 0 the press it again it would display 1 so on and so on andthis is what its doing in game i figuered this out when i tried to type a wbsite adress it did this now if i couldfgure out what i did to make it do that
