I think Sony won this years press conference. The Vita looks amazing the graphics and functionality of it and at a great price especially when many were thinking it would be 300-500 dollars. Great titles with a new SlyCooper game and Uncharted 3 and Infamous 2 and Resistance 3. Also how cool was that TV that gets rid of the split screen for co op and same screen multiplayer!! Ico and Shadow of the colossus being re-released in HD is awesome!!

Only disappointment was no Kevin Butler :(

Microsoft took second. A new halo series almost makes me want to go buy a 360 eventually now to start anew with it. Kinect is still not impressive though.

I think Nintendo finished last. The Wii U is what the Wii should have been and I dont think most families will see a reason to shell out a few hundred more dollars and have two Wiis now just for HD. Serious gamers will but not the thousands of families that accounted for their colossal sales numbers. The controller is large and awkward with no real innovation put into it. Same old titles that Nintendo has been riding on for years and years now. Nothing new as far as that.

Those are my thoughts on the conference.

I think game of the year will be a toss up between BF3 and Uncharted 3.

I think Nintendo came first, Microsoft second, and Sony third. And this is coming from a guy that only owns a PS3 and neither a 360 or Wii.

The Wii-U will have HD (finally), and even though you say it's what the Wii should have been, that hasn't stopped the original Wii being such a huge success, and now that it's reaching its age, people will want to upgrade to the Wii-U. Though we're knocking the design and size of the Wii-U controller, remember people did the same thing for the iPad, look where it's at now. The Wii-U has generated a lot more interest and questions for me personally than the PS Vita.

Microsoft came second to me because I like the direction Microsoft is taking the Kinect. Hardcore gamers will moan and whine about the lack of games for them, but if you look at the bigger picture, the 360 is not just a gaming console anymore like when it first debuted. It's becoming, or already IS, a legitimate entertainment media device like people called the PS3 when it was first released. The Kinect will give the 360 more longevity (turn off for some, happiness for others), but for those who are going fully online for their entertainment (Hulu, netflix, youtube, etc.) 360+Kinect will definitely become more popular for households to use.

Sony: despite the pretty good lineup of games (Resistance 3, Uncharted 3), the Vita announcement didn't generate any interest by me. However, others will differ from my opinion, especially if they've owned a PSP. Just different weights and priorities for people, and the Vita being such an important part of Sony's conference pretty much relegated it to the bottom of my list.

Sony Edit: I actually heard that InFamous 2 was a letdown compared to the original. Anyone already playing it can confirm/deny. Not many WOW moments like the original, and there's something about the camera that's annoying the reviewer?

Game of the Year: I'd say Battlefield 3 overall and for PC. Uncharted 3 for console/PS3.

The new nintendo console sounds pretty nice. I just hope the fancy controller doesn't cost extra since the controllers for the wii are backwards compatible. The shot I saw of Zelda being played with it looked pretty awesome with the inventory screen on the controller. So I think Nintendo won it this year.

Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony.

My reaction to Nintendo's was "that's a little interesting..." and the others were downhill from there.

1st: EA because well, BF3 and the other great looking games

2nd: Microsoft cause im a MS fanboy regardless of the bashing of them, and i love love love love the Halo series, gameplay and the epic story in the books, ive read all of the books except for the newest one

3rd: Sony & Nintendo, didnt pay too much attention to sony's even tho i was sitting there watching it. it seemed sony put a lot of time into the 'vita' and kevin butler wasnt there. Nintendo, im not too big on them but the new console seemed interesting on how developers are going to use it. plus i know some ppl get excited for all the classic nintendo games, ive owned every nintendo console since the regular nintendo and i just dont like the kinda cartoony/silly/nonserious 1st party games they love to reboot each year.

4th: Ubisoft, nothing really interesting to me here, that caffeine dude was really annoying with his stupid little flashback things he did before each game >_>

I dunno it did just release today so not a lot of reviews so far. Where was the review from too btw?

Infamous 2 is a hell of a lot better than the first game. Only things annoying me is the melee camera( the camera moves around with you beat people up and gets a little crazy some times) and that the standard lightning bolts are not infinite like the first one.

On the e3 side of things i dont think anyone did a good job. Microsoft just presented kinect stuff, Sony didn't display any new titles for the ps3, and Nintendo may have presented a new system but had no true blue games to show off. Just a bunch of tech demos and promises for the future.

Vita makes me do this Wiggles...

It does that to me to but as of the moment i was expect them to show off a little more ps3 that like 3 games. My biggest problem with the way sony handle's their portable console is that their not making new ips just reusing console games. Also why did Nintendo just display the remote?

I'd say that for the WiiU and games on the 3DS

The WiiU console looks alot like the Wii, no real point in showing it.

Actually the Wii U case looks like a repurposed 360 with a new layout for the buttons...

Overall I thought Microsoft was the best. Especially if you just think of it as product exposure and info and not necessarily just games. This is E3 not gamescon. Some of the new xbox live stuff was looking like that is going in a good direction from a purely lifestyle influence angle. EA probably second just from a BF3 reveal standpoint. Sony third for the vita stuff which I am starting to see the appeal especially from that price point. Nintendo 4th just due to the lack of any real info and honestly a bit confusing from the weird structure and lack of any real specificity on their goals and aim for what thier products are really gonna give you. Ubisoft a real distant last. Just really slow progressing and an incredibly annoying host.

Gotta say the only thing i've seen so far that was truly impressed me is the trailer for sly 4.

Good luck with that one, buddy.
